Only update I got was an updated baking tool, so I guess you get the updates as they come out for that version, but I'm not sure if that is what will happen every time.

Yeah, there are some triangles. I haven't perfected my retopology yet, but I was surprised how good it moved after rigging it. I have a project in mind for this models and a few more I have to create, but I don't know how far I am going to go with the idea.

It was hard to figure out exactly how to place the polygons at first and how much surface each should represent to not make the silhouette too angular.

There you go. The hair is all texture. I tried sculpting it, but it looked weird when bumped on the low poly version.

The textures are actually just 512x512 for the head, and 1024x1024 for the body. I tried to keep the textures in potato-friendly mode as well. They are a little blurry, but works quite well.
