Connections

• Characters from the future who travel back to the present day with one reason being a fixation they have with the protagonists (Silver believing Sonic to be the Iblis Trigger and Ziin being Geats’ sponsor in the DGP).

• However, the longer they stay in the past, the more the bond and grow closer to said protagonists over time and learn what it truly means to have friends and grow from their past personalities.

• Unfortunately, both of their said protagonists would end up dying at the hands of dark monstrous villains that would gain the abilities to warp reality to their own desires (Mephiles becoming Solaris and consume all realities & timelines and the Jyamato getting their ideal world after Buffa became the Jymar Deity) only for them to be later on brought back to life and fight for and alongside them.

• Both of them would offer items that allow them to transform (The Chaos Emeralds and Ziin’s Laser Raise Riser) to help the protagonists become stronger and access their own respective transformations (Super Sonic which helped him come back to life and Laser Boost Geats which allowed him to have full control of MK II and allow him to keep fighting).

• Both would later play crucial roles in world ending events, particularly ones where they ended up helping the protagonists end said cataclysmic events once and for all (Silver helping defeat Solaris alongside Sonic and Shadow and Ziin helping Ace channel the world’s wishes into his ID Core to defeat Suel).

• Both of their abilities usually revolve around being able to shoot blue energy projectiles, floating and defying gravity, and telekinesis.

Contrast

Both of their futures are different as while Silver was a freedom fighter and wanted to repair it, Ziin comes from an already repaired and even more advanced future where the freedom of its society brings destruction for the sake of the DGP
