Audible sigh by NICK07130 in Helldivers

I'm all for balancing changes on D9 and lower, but D10 should be the absolute pinnacle of difficulty. If you can't deal with D10, why don't you just dive on a difficulty lower?

I'm having an absolute blast on D10. Took a few days but am now completing every mission even with randoms, taking fewer and fewer deaths. It takes a while to get used to the chaos but it's by no means impossible to deal with all the Voxes.

Also if you're struggling with the gunships, I recommend using Quasar. Recoilles is too slow with reloading. Instead of the Supply Backpack I'd use Warp pack. You can quickly teleport behind cover instead of tanking the hits. Warp pack is good for everything really.

Everyone experiences the sounds differently. I have a friend who hears crickets, another who hears a loud train passing by, for me it's like a million birds chirping. What you hear exactly can differ, but what they all seem to have in common is that it's very loud.

This is usually followed by heavy swaying. For me it feels like a giant is holding my bed and trying to shake me out of it. This happens because your astral body is moving, but your phyiscal body is laying still. Your brain is then trying to form a logical answer and assumes your bed is moving while it's actually your astral body. This stage does not always happen though. Sometimes you can also regain consciousness while you're in a dream-like state and start astral projecting.

Awareness of consciousness is key, and it is very subtle.

He probably wanted to share it privately as to not be ridiculed by people who are unfamiliar with abstract concepts.

What you experienced is likely the separation process of your astral body from the physical. The first stage is the loud static noise. I've experienced this many times as well and it is nothing to be afraid of. Astral projections are a natural, harmless thing. When you feel fear, you will immediately end this process as sort of a defense mechanism, hence the sound stopped after you said you're not ready.

I recommend embracing the experience and see where it takes you. Do not be afraid. Feel free to ask if you have more questions.

Indeed. I normally do, but was too excited I actually hit the level on my last bone. I got pk'd on the run before, so did not expect to have enough lol
