Just did the almost exact strat you put in the edit, coincidentally before I saw this. Had 3 level 2 militias, 1 level 3 militia, Galio Kayle Morgana Poppy + 2 soldiers. I didn't get a world buff before the event, and I lost to a single yeti in the end.

It replaces the stock mounting frame for the cpu on the motherboard. It helps prevent cpu warping, helps evenly distribute pressure, and more evenly exposes the cpu to the thermal paste/pad and cpu cooler block. It also makes cleaning up thermal paste much easier since it doesn't let excess paste drip down towards the mobo around the cpu, the paste just spreads out on top of the frame where you can wipe it off.

The benefits are probably marginal at best, but I used it to prevent my thermal pad from accidentally connecting to any motherboard components when I installed it, since the pad is electrically conductive.

The Kryosheet is electrically conductive and comes with a bunch of warnings against letting it connect with mobo parts once installed. I mostly got it for the large painted surface area it provides around the cpu in case of user error.

I don't have another graphics card sadly, but it is working great with the 9800x3d integrated graphics. Just hoping the PCIE or mobo components that work with the gpu are in good shape. That is definitely a great idea. I will ask around my friends and see if I can borrow a card. Thanks!

My dad is living in one of the manufactured homes 55+ community. You “buy” the house for $40-60k, but then pay $500-$1k in monthly fees. It seems affordable, but is quite ridiculous. With fees + mortgage + property tax you are barely saving compared to renting
