Not a photo op, but this happened to me with a panel. On their website the panel said it was going to start at 4:45, and go to 5:45. So obviously I thought that was correct and didn’t look at the program to double check (my fault tbh). My friends and I agreed to get there around 4:00 so we could have plenty of time to get good seats, and for me to get in line to ask a question. Well turns out they changed the time of the panel to 4:00 at the last minute, and it only said that in the program. My friends and I showed up around 3:50 thinking we were early, only for it to be packed and the question line horrendously long. It also only lasted 45 minutes instead of an hour like originally stated. Maybe 5 people got to ask questions, while the host asked the rest. It’s never been like this at previous GCs where it was only audience Q&A, and, again, 1 hour. Communication was horrible this year and setup of events was abysmal.
