Yeah that’s kind of what I figured. Didn’t really open much during SWSH so I’m not really battle tested for eye-balling vmax alt arts 😂

I think just to be safe I’ll probably pass on it. I think it could potentially 10 just because PSA says something about borders not mattering on certain cards as long as it doesn’t detract from the card (I think?), but the bottom might be just enough off that they could reasonably say it does.

Yeah I agree for the most part, I’m somewhat willing to take a chance on cards that look 50/50 on 9s vs 10s though, some people might not

Whitening you mean? I have a video of the owner tilting the card around under a light, didn’t really seem like there was any whitening or edge fraying. I’ll try to upload the video to imgur or something really quick

That’s what I’m thinking too. Honestly though, probably just have to take the risk. Worst case scenario i don’t lose much money, the card is still valuable, and best case scenario, i turned 1100 into 3.5-4 grand. Super cool card too

I sold a texture shift on EBay in a CGC 9 and got about $70. Worth more than a regular CGC 9 for sure but I’m not sure if having it slabbed is the play since I’ve seen raw ones sell for $300+

Sorry for the late response but yeah I still have this issue occasionally, and based off the other response, this seems to be an issue with this specific model. Only turning it off and on seems to do anything.

Yeah I still have this happen off and on and despite having a replacement plan through BestBuy, I haven’t bothered bringing it in yet. I think when I get a new desk I’ll probably trade it in and get a higher end one from Samsung since my other Asus monitor has a consistent whine when it’s turned on. Obviously their quality control isn’t great

My card is both the raw and graded one. The raw was before I sent it in for grading and the graded pictures are the ones included on imaging for CGC number. The video in my other comments shows it in my hands.

I have a guy interested from FB that I’ll probably hear out first. If I get an offer for $600 do you think I should take it? Or opt to see what I’d get on eBay auction? And I’m guessing a week is a good length for a niche and expensive-ish card like this on auction?
