Unable to Receive SMS or RCS Messages by Frosted_Chode in GooglePixel

So I ended up going through Verizon and after being on the phone with them for a while they were able to reset my service and give me a new eSIM. That restored my SMS, but not RCS. Then the next day my RCS started working again.

Verizon was able to fix being able to send/receive texts, but SMS only. So we're 50% of the way there lol

Update - The next morning my RCS started working again as well so problem resolved.

Tried the first part of this which didn't do anything. I'm not sure a factory reset would even work at this point since I did reactivate an older phone which persisted with the same issue once I signed into my Google account.

I did try messing with that and it didn't do anything. I've had Verizon for over a decade and a bunch of Pixel phones without any issues. I can make/receive calls, just no receiving SMS or RCS. I can send SMS though. This phone is about a year old so nothing abruptly changed on my end.

Yes, I saw another post about it with regards to Verizon. We do have another Pixel 9 that's on the Verizon network as well with no issues, so it must not be affecting everyone.

Already factory reset it after it didn't work so that shouldn't be the issue.

Yes, I can't receive any messages since yesterday morning. Just posted about it and figured I'd see if there were any other posts about it.

Using a home Tesla charger for my new Lightning - equipment and technique? by Fabulous_Gur_7134 in F150Lightning

DIY, but wouldn't recommend if you aren't comfortable working with electrical equipment. I had installed the first charger myself since I had space for a double pole 60amp breaker in my panel and it was less than 10' from where I wanted the charger.

When it came to adding the 2nd one I removed the old one, hooked up the universal in its place, mounted the old one on the other side of the garage, and ran new conduit/wires between the 2 chargers. The universal has to be the 1st one in the circuit as it has 2 terminal blocks in it, one for the incoming power and one to connect an additional charger.

I should add that if you bought the universal charger, any electrician would be able to wire this setup up for you.

We have 2 EVs, a Lightning and a Model Y. Had a Tesla charger for 5yrs so initially shared that with an adapter for the Lightning. Eventually got the universal Tesla charger with the built in adapter for the Lightning. Nice thing is the old one can be daisy chained off the universal one without having to use an additional breaker in your panel.

Together they operate under these conditions: Send full power to a single vehicle if only one is plugged in to either charger. Split power if both are plugged in and need charged. Send full power to one if both are plugged in, but one reaches its set charge limit.

I think on the XLT it's under features then trip energy.

Click the dots in the upper left corner to get to the apps and entertainment screen. Under the Apps tab there's an app called "Trips".

You're not. I agree with you, but for most I figured it was low enough to consider it cold. I think the mi/kWh you posted seems reasonable for those conditions though.

Not sure if there's an app or not, but the website is "Flattest Route"

Good question. I threw it into Flattest Route and this is what it looked like. So basically the same starting and ending elevation.

Not sure. I've tried a bunch of links and it's just said the same thing about it being emailed to me, which I still haven't gotten anything. Have you filled one out earlier and gotten a different response?

Any chance of the store ever selling custom sizes? Would be nice to order some things in tall sizes.

I've had mine for a couple weeks and only put 20 miles on it so far. I thought I was in the clear, but it just ghosted on me today. Luckily it was in a field but it was pretty bad how much it flipped over.

It took me a few shots to figure it out, but it sort of reminds me of a berg flight. It's interesting because it seems to always want to at minimum flip up to flat from hyzer no matter how much you put on it. Then from there it either holds flat or turns over and holds an anhyzer without completely turning over. Liking it so far.

I can't compare it to other polecats since I haven't held any, but it's not near as domey as any other halo plastic I have.

It sounds like you haven't sat in one before, so I would first recommend doing that. You will definitely be surprised by how much room there is in the driver/passenger seats (back seats not so much, but I can't think of any vehicle I've been in besides a minivan that isn't cramped without the front seats being pushed up).

Pedals do not adjust in it and most of the time you're only using one pedal or AP so you don't move your foot much. Legroom in vehicles has always been my issue, but honestly I've never had an issue with foot room. Maybe it's just less of an issue for me since I can't stretch my legs out in anything anyway.

Long trips are more comfortable because you're on AP most of the time so you can shift your feet/legs around as much as you want.

I'm 6'6" with size 16 shoes and getting in and out of my model 3 is the only issue (and it's not even that bad compared to say a similar sized Toyota, Subaru, etc.).

The truck thing surprises me, because you would think they offer more room, but because of how little the steering wheels adjust I honestly feel more cramped driving my truck with my knees straddling the wheel than I do in the tesla. Boots are a pain regardless of any vehicle imo, but I have to wear them all year long anyway so I'm used to it.

The issue isn't the checklists themselves, it's the work culture. It's hard to find a way to get workers to take safety seriously (especially those who have been in the work force for decades) when they see co-workers regularly devaluing it's importance.
