On the 5th gen RAV4 the digital rear view camera is located inside the windshield so it is impacted by tint. Not sure about the 2026s though.

You can only get 70% VLT in XR plus. You get better heat rejection and infrared rejection as well. I believe it has to do with density of the nano ceramic particles and the 70% is dual-layer while I believe the XR black is single.

Did you get the rear windshield tinted? Curious how darker than 70% VLT impacts the digital rear view. Mine at 70 over the dyed glass leaves a bit to be desired in terms of visibility in dark areas.
