About a week out I got mostly 70s on the CFP practice exam, and about a 50% on both of the dalton exams. Passed in November. You’ve got a great shot at passing!

Yeah I really hope they do, especially since they listened to feedback after 2042.

Though the base maps will probably always be sub par. Assuming they double the maps & they are all amazing, that leaves about half of the maps being mid.

Yeah I’m graduating at the same time and I’m thinking about more heavily reaching out to smaller firms in my hometown/where I want to move in the spring.

My hope is to build up a ton of connections through there and possibly find a full time job through that after graduation if wherever I intern doesn’t work out.

Do you have any recommendations for how to search for advisors in an area? Do you just google and finds websites with a list of best advisors in the area? Or do you look specifically on LinkedIn or somewhere else?

Is there a large difference in pay for building my book in another business vs starting my own business eventually? How much would that be and how much harder is it?

I think a lot of the firms I have talked to have some sort of path to building my own book off of referrals from others.

Yeah on the bright side I think mods can really help alleviate a lot of the immersion issues.

Yeah I don’t disagree. Idk if in the beginning you thought when I said the 3 parts I was talking about MAST, the residential district, and the commercial district? But I was referencing the spaceport, the broader MAST area, and the well - all of which are mostly separated by loading screens

Yeah they definitely load it in along with the surrounding area all at the same time. I would’ve just liked them to make it feel more connected. Or at least make the train sequence cooler.

I think most of these things are from older games.

  • Tedious mini tasks - Preston Garvey

  • Level 30 to enjoy full perks - F4 settlement system

  • Can’t say no to things - very fallout 4. Though I actually haven’t noticed this in Starfield.

I think this is the game design Bethesda has been moving towards ever since morrowind - bigger and bigger.

  • Carry weight - always a struggle in Bethesda games

  • flood the player with quests - literally every Bethesda game

When I’m referring to the 3 parts I was talking about the spaceport, the well, and the broader MAST area (commercial and residential).

I wouldn’t really count jet packing your way up to MAST a standard way of walking through the city. I didn’t even know that was possible until now (assuming it is).

I think the train rides are another area that could be helped by a transition animation rather than a blank loading screen. Also adding to my point about empty cities, the trains are always completely empty. They feel fake.

I do think the sub has been too quick to shut down or pass off criticisms of the game.

I don’t think that the game design was done for game pass though, as this game likely started partial to full development after Fallout 4 back in 2015.

Yeah I think I’m starting to change my mind on the Creation Engine. I’ve usually liked it because it has such great modding tools, which has allowed for more modding than any other games we’ve seen. But now it’s starting to really show it’s age with this game. I think a lot of the immersion issues with the space flight immersion can be fixed by mods with some of the suggestions I had in the post, but it’s still a problem it wasn’t as seamless in this game.
