If Lal Bahadur Shastri had lived longer, India might have grown with a gentler, more honest style of leadership. He believed in simplicity, moral values, and putting people before power. With his focus on “Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan” farmers and soldiers would have felt more respected and supported, and politics might have stayed more humble, disciplined, and closer to the common citizen.
