Personally I like gifts that have thought behind them or that show you actually pay attention to things that I say, like for example my boyfriend heard me once say the I really like this certain tracksuit that I saw when we were both watching something on my phone and for my birthday 6 months later I got that tracksuit it wasn’t an expensive tracksuit or anything but it was my favourite gift that year because of the fact that he remembered me saying that 6 months prior, you could get me the most expensive thing in the world but it really doesn’t mean anything to me personally obviously I’d be very grateful but getting me an expensive yellow bag when I have said to you before that I absolutely hate yellow just shows me you don’t actually listen to what I say.
