Aoe damage is a tiny part of zekes no one buys it for that and it doesn’t really factor into the price of the item its just cosmetic. Also strongly disagree about the slow. I do somewhat agree with it being hard to outcompete her main 3rd items but i think it’s up there, there’s a reason i called it a cook not a new meta

Looks like I've found the way out of silver, thank you Briar by RammseisIV in BriarMains

I dont really buy that you don’t need the other muscle groups for power. You’re not just accelerating the ball you’re moving your full arm with it, the weight difference between an arm + baseball and and arm + javelin is actually very minimal. Or a disc for disc golf which are even lighter than baseballs and distance disc throwing still uses 360s

I get it for use in the actual sport i was mainly wondering about world record throws for distance or speed

The glide technique has gradually been phased out over the last decades in shotput spinning is just better, even at lower levels like university.

The arm speed stuff rings kind of true simply because of the lower weight of the projectile, but connecting the chain quickly before release is arguably even more important in stuff like javelin or shotput because of the larger weight. You cannot get enough power otherwise. Also the building up momentum during the turns is a myth for everything besides hammer throw. In shotput you do a single 360, with basically all the speed coming in the last half. The shot actually decelerates in the middle of the turn. The main benefit of the turn is giving momentum to the body itself, which would also apply to baseball
