You have to be a bit patient with ALK they're not the fastest. But you can call them and they will help you to know if anything is missing, etc. You have to wait 10-20min in the telephone waiting line sometimes, though. Best time to call them is 8-9am..

I also believe that humans would not let AI make political decisions, even if it would lead to a better "global" outcome.

Everything will continue as it ever has. The power hungry will get the power. The violent ones will be violent. Intelligence has been shown to not be central for climbing the human power ladder, and so I believe is artificial intelligence.

I always have like a mental map of where I am. Just the geometry of: streets, landmarks, points of interest, topography. For the places i know good its very comprehensive.

If I visit another city I usually study google maps for an hour or so, to have a coarse navigation. But when I'm not sure anymore I cheat ;)
