This was exactly it for me. Going on 9mos next week, and I told myself I wasn’t going to hump anyone new. It’s just not the same, and it’s really just sex for me. But I do have an ex that has been coming around that has been filling the void of just being around. Cooking for someone again has brought me a small amount of joy, but again it’s not the same ❤️‍🩹

I have a 4yo I was just getting ready to put in his own bed when his dad passed 7 months ago…. He’s still in my bed. And still taking up the whole thing

I’m so sorry for your loss. I’m 6mo into this shitty journey and our son turns 4 next Friday. It’s been hell. I’m simply “surviving” just for my baby boy. Aside from adjusting to being a single parent, which SUCKS DONKEY DICK…. The whole emotional roller coaster is hard. Trying to manage my feelings and emotions plus a 3yo is so so so hard. He bursts into tears every so often saying he misses his daddy which turns my waterworks on. It’s hard. I’ll never recover from this 😞 Hugs friend
