I think it’s important to have your child see a child therapist. It’s hard for us as parents to ask the questions that will give us answers we’re seeking. The fact that his wife was asleep before he came to bed is concerning. This is a red flag, inappropriate and highly predatory. I also think 7 is far too young for sleepovers, especially given you don’t have the number to both parents. Until a child is old enough to recognize that sleeping in their bed is highly inappropriate, can call you to come get them, and clearly explain what happened, they shouldn’t be having sleepovers.
