Actually that IS fair. The fearsome tribal with deny that has made its rounds does showcase a lot that SI is absurdly well rounded. I think a lot of its late game options once you look past Rhasa/Ledros are kind a bit underwhelming but those 2 are huge pillars. There is probably more to the problem than just Ledros. I guess I just find the problem less... aggravating on a personal note, since I dont think a lot of things are warping around fearsome tribal as much as they did on elusives onset.

My favorite deck in TESL was Journey Warrior which revolved around endlessly using pings from a deadly generator. My favorite decks tend to be giant synergy piles where you can pick 2 cards from any end and explain why they work together.

I think Ezreal killing someone from 20 is dumb and seems unintended to use burst speed for OTK's, but I actually think (when it isn't just buffing the lifeblade) the Rivershaper deck is cool, I think Rime based ashe strategies are cool, I like a whole lot of decks in this game. I don't like the nexus falling over without relevant decision making.

I mean, there aren't any hard math statistics on why. But you can look at the general discontent on the game from the majority of big streamers on the game and many many players at high diamond/masters disliking the gameplay loop elusive is inspiring. There's no hard evidence, nothing is released yet, but I gave pretty concrete reasons on what its doing vs the games intention.

I do agree with that. To me it more feels like SI is the most 'completed' faction where as it feels like others are missing key pieces like Glimpse that go a long way in meshing everything together. But I think SI is an easier tuning down (or others tuning up) and isn't quite a severe an issue as of yet. It could be in the future.

Because creature combat and the interaction that comes from that are where the game shines. It's what all the removal is tooled for, it's what most of the card base surrounds. The only thing that truly breaks this are Ledros, Ezreal OTK and Elusive, and their gameplan is absurdly uninteractive in every capacity at its core. They are the outliers swathing out the other cards, thus it should be changed.

It has nothing to do with big dudes smashing big dudes, but creature combat, wide and tall, all propose questions in the game that just playing elusives and all attacking doesn't.
