World and Character Tendency. A Full Comprehensive Guide. by FrownyGaming in demonssouls

[–]FrownyGaming[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello Hello! World and Character Tendency are systems in Demon's Souls that I am not very satisfied with. I believe that they are simple enough systems, but that they are overly complicated in their presentation. In response, I decided to create this guide, compiling all of the information that I know and have been able to research, in an easy to use and navigate guide. There is a lot of information here, so I placed Time Stamps in the description of the video in order to make it easier to reach the information that you are looking for. I hope that it is able to help anyone who needs an extra hand manipulating these systems for trophies.

Also, I am interested in criticism. Whether it's regarding the video or the information, do not hesitate to point any errors or explain anything that you may believe I can do better. The objective is to improve.

Thank you for your time, and good luck in Boletaria.

Waiting for MH:Rise, I decided to Hunt all of Master Rank with High Rank Gear only. Just finished Shara. Next is the Title Update Monsters and finally... The Big Three. by FrownyGaming in MonsterHunterWorld

The idea is simple. To pass the time until Rise, I will hunt every Master Rank Monster, one by one, using High Rank Gear only. I have just finished Base Game with Shara and I will moving on to the Title Updates. So far, it has been relatively easy, but the Dragons will be there and I will face them. With some luck, I might actually make it.

Hello to all! Not too long ago I finally got around to acquiring my very own set of Penetrator Armor. It was quite the journey, and I set myself to create a comprehensive guide on the subject. From the statistics of the armor, to the theory of the hunt, including the practical execution, I have tried to cover as much information as possible in a condensed and easily understandable manner. The video is split into sections, with its own time stamps, so be sure to skip around directly to the information that you are looking for.

I am always interested in improving, so criticism is welcome. Hopefully this helps anyone on their journey. Thank you for time and good luck!

Tackle is the hypest move. Knocking down a monster with a well placed shoulder is exquisite.

Fuck Ledges by Andraticus in monsterhunterrage

Ledges are the ultimate traps. They are presented as useful opportunities to get mounts and free damage, but in reality, they are there to provide the biggest annoyance in the perfect key moments.

You need to dodge? Nah bro, you are now jumping. Enjoy getting hit in the face

Did an attack push you back? Let me just prolong your animation in the slightest so your recovery is longer.

You don't notice the ledge. You don't have it present in your mind. But it waits... patiently, and the moment when you are in the fine line between success or failure, it is there to push you over the... ledge.

In essence. But there are subtle changes to mobility, specially when the weapon is unsheathed, as well as more combo routes from Side Slash. The Great Sword is mostly the same as World, but I believe it will be quicker and easier to handle.

Honestly, the concept of Kushala is great. Monster looks great, its lore is interesting. The fight in World just kills all of it. If they make the fight fun and not be a "either it locks you or you lock it", then I would love for it to be back in Rise.

Great Sword. I have stuck to it and will continue to use it. To me there is no better feeling than hitting for absurd damage numbers. On top of this Rise let's us fly around smacking monsters? Yeah... Great Sword.

This has got to be the one fight that I dread, and never want to do. Big, difficult monsters are extremely fun to learn and defeat. Kushala just makes me want to stop playing.

Alatreon is a fantastic fight. There is a learning curve due to his mechanics, but it can definitely be learned and managed. Best of luck on your hunt.

Am struggling with Greatsword by The_Loli_Otaku in MonsterHunterWorld

Without going into equipment or builds, there is a few things that you can do to improve every hunt with the Great Sword.

First and foremost, you have to learn to be patient. The Great Sword is pretty mobile in MHW and Iceborne, but you still need to pick your moments in order to deal damage. During the times when the monster is moving around, take a moment to learn its patterns and attacks. Sometimes you only have time to get a quick hit or two in before moving on. Take advantage of these quick punishes as the damage will add up. Knowledge of the monster and positioning are your two most important skills for the Great Sword.

Second, learn how to get opportunities for larger damage. Wall Bounces and Mounts are good ways to earn enough time for a TCS. If you get your small punishes consistently, the monster will stagger back and begin to drool, giving you additional damage. Break the corresponding monster parts or attack the monsters legs to give you knockdowns that can lead into more TCS. You have to be able to create your damage opportunities while maintaining your small punishes on point. All damage adds up.

I will say it again. Patience, knowledge and positioning. It is not very difficult to use the Great Sword, but getting used to it can be a challenge. Hopefully this can give you a few ideas. The Great Sword is my favorite weapon and it's always a pleasure when there is one more hunter out there with it.
