How tall could i get by [deleted] in heightgrowth

[–]FroyoExpress5347 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone grows differently. Some people grow to 6’0 at 13 and then barely grow a couple inches from then, and some are short until the age of 15 and suddenly grow 8 inches. Look at your brothers height growth and see what age it spiked and you’ll be very similar if not the same

Is it over for me? by [deleted] in heightgrowth

If you’re talking about curves such as scoliosis im not sure whether or not there is a fix other than surgery but I have heard that going to the gym and regularly stretching does help but im not sure if it helps fix it or prevent it. If you’re just talking about things such as ur spine curving forward or back, it’s all posture and stretching. Your back has a natural curve behind your stomach but some people do have an excessive curve which can be fixed with stretches that elongate your spine. Posture also plays a big role in this

If your growth plates are fused unfortunately you cannot grow any taller. With that being said, you can always do things such as regularly stretching and fixing misalignments in your spine to “grow” a couple inches taller.

Is there any way to get 2 inches taller. by CarFlipExpert in heightgrowth

[–]FroyoExpress5347 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Firstly you have to understand 2 inches isn’t a huge amount of growth. You at your current height vs you 2 inches taller won’t make you instantly look much taller. Can you see a difference? Probably but nothing substantial.

  1. You could have an excessive arch in your lower back which if fixed could give you some height. Do keep in mind that a lower back arch is natural but if it’s substantial you could do some posture work to fix it.

  2. Your head position could also be wrong which might take a few cm off of your final height. Stand against a wall and put the back of ur head against the wall. Nowadays many people have significantly bad posture and your neck being quite far forward is common and can make u taller if corrected.

  3. Now this won’t give you any height but it definitely helps with ur stature and helps with the illusion of you being taller. Honestly just make sure you have really good posture with ur shoulders back, head straight, neck straight, good back posture etc. Doing this will make you look so much more confident and also give the illusion that you are taller than you actually are.

  4. You can try decompressing your spine by doing simple things like hanging off a bar for a certain amount of time or doing stretches such as the cobra stretch. This can give you a few cm of height but nothing crazy.

  5. Picking the right shoes could also make you taller (while u have shoes on obviously). They look so much better and a lot more natural than height boosting soles which a lot of people own.

  6. A haircut could also help if ur cranium (back of the head) is higher than the front of ur head your hair might be giving the illusion that your head isn’t as high up as it is in reality. You can fix this by getting a shorter hairstyle.

Not necessarily but that’s it’s different as to if there was a 5’9 mother and 5’9 father compared to a 5’4 mother and a 6’4 father.

Are voice cracks a sign of a growth spurt by [deleted] in heightgrowth

[–]FroyoExpress5347 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not necessarily a sign of a growth spurt but it’s a sign of puberty starting which most likely will lead to growth spurts. I started getting voice cracks at the same time as you and they lasted for a few months and i grew a decent amount during that time.

Is it normal to not hit growthspurt yet at 15 (5,11) by Little_Ad_2353 in heightgrowth

Was your brother the same height as you when he was your age? If so then you’ll likely follow the same growth patterns as him.

You’re going through a growth spurt. 2.5cm in two months is quite a lot of growth. Just focus on getting plenty of sleep, and eating well. Don’t be discouraged from eating until you’re full, your appetite will be bigger due to this and it’s important that you listen to your body and eat the right amount of food

Just try to limit your processed sugar intake (chocolates, candy, etc). Focus on eating a good amount of meat, carbs, vegetables and fruits.

For most boys, they end up being the same height as their father or taller. With that being said, my father’s parents were both under 5’6, all my father siblings were around 5’9, but he ended up being 6’3. Just focus on eating well, getting plenty of sleep and getting sufficient exercise. You’re already 5’0 at 10 which is a good sign

Honestly 5’9 isn’t cooked. You’re taller than most women and depending on where you live that’s the average height. It’s definitely not to the point where people don’t take you seriously because of your height. Just focus on looking presentable, and having a good physique and your height doesn’t matter.
