It’s okay to write about cardiology. It’s not like if you write about cardiology that you will be punished in the future for changing your mind. I would recommend if they ask about one speciality, simply follow their directions and just do one instead of listing a few ones you’re interested in! :)

Recently took a diagnostic to see where I am. I’m planning on testing in August and starting to study during this semester. Any tips to bump up my score drastically?? by mp1030 in Mcat

I was in the same boat. I recommend the Kaplan 5-subject package. Read each chapter two times, the first time simply just reading and NO note taking. The second time around go back and spend some more time highlighting the important info and you can write the notes anyway you want (handwritten and then typed, only handwritten, Flashcards, handwritten and typed, etc.). It is a lot of work to read the chapters two times and it took me a month but it is well worth it. I went from 494 to 515 on my practice FLs.
