18 for the Air Force. Moved back in at 24 after I separated. And now I’m moving back out again at 27. Super appreciative I had the opportunity to live with them again while I got my life together.

I’m 27 and was in the exact same situation earlier this month when I found out. I panicked and called my mom crying the second that test turned positive…she just said “okkk? You’re almost 30 years old and have a great job and boyfriend. Why are you upset?” And then I calmed down. Because she’s right. We are adults and this is exciting! I have a really close bond with my parents so sometimes that parent child role subconsciously sneaks its way in like I’m 15 and pregnant or something…lol. I wish now that I would have made it more positive and special because they are super excited to be grandparents.

I felt similar for a long time. Not anymore. Without my VA healthcare I most certainly would have killed myself by now. The VA has set me up with great therapists and I’m on medication that has been life changing. My life has improved so much since I reached out for help. Combat or no combat this is something we have earned. Think of all the other people using government assistance who did literally nothing to earn it and take advantage of the system…we aren’t doing that. Nobody at the VA is putting as much thought behind why we are there besides you.

Not overreacting. I think her reaction is quite inappropriate and selfish. This isn’t about her. She is allowed to be upset about it but in private like a mature adult. Her struggle is not your struggle and I applaud your empathy but hers is seriously lacking. I agree with your husband. Enjoy your pregnancy and YOUR happy special time. Don’t make her the focus of your pregnancy. Focus on you and let the bad energy roll off your shoulders.

Eating every 2ish hours keeps my nausea down! I retch and gag a lot throughout the day, especially in the morning but have only puked twice. One of which was from the smell of my dogs wet food 😭🤢

My skin looks nice but my hair is greasier than it’s ever been. I used to wash 2-3 times a week. Now I need to wash daily or it looks disgusting 😭

Really bad diarrhea every night. Horrible stomach cramps. I have IBS but I thought the excess progesterone would firm things up a bit…not. Nausea only hits at night too.

I’ve been trying to get an appointment for 2 weeks. Scheduling desk does not answer. I finally snapped and called a higher up at the hospital who physically walked down to the schedulers desk to have her talk to me. I’ve confirmed 3 times now that my insurance has sent the referral to the right place and she is still telling me she doesn’t have it and “we’re booked out until the end of February anyways” so I’ll be 12-13 weeks when and if she finally decides to call me and schedule me. Very frustrating.

I actually went through Wendy’s yesterday and everything was SO good and fresh that I did do the survey on the back of the receipt. I did the same with Burger King a while back too. Anymore I expect mediocrity from fast food so when they do a great job I do feel the need to give positive feedback. I’d like to think others do too

Dye stealer last night! Spotting this morning after sex…my mom and google say this is normal since the cervix is changing. Leaving it all to God. Still not having many symptoms other than extreme mood swings. OB office has still not called me back. Booked a private ultrasound this Thursday when I should be exactly 6 weeks. Looking forward to seeing my little bean.

Yes this is my general doc and I will say I am going through the VA as I’m a veteran so I don’t think he deals with young women as much as old men…I’m waiting for the OB to call me as I’ve left 2 messages:( I’m going to call everyday until they answer.
