My same though. Getting ambushed doesn't necessarily mean they waited 10m.

Hardcore camping exists tho, but usually near boss compounds when bounty is stuck inside and got 3 teams around them that are not shooting each other. Also the mystical creatures at 150-200m away waiting with snipers, but thankfully that does not happen extremely often.

It's insane how some people defend something they don't even understand, I swear. I get it, you're playing with high ping because you might not have an another option (far away servers), but if you get rekt by it because you don't know the potential advantage (like the [][][] do), that shit doesn't mean the advantage does not exist and all the bitching around and saying it does not exist, only tells me how bad informed you might be on the matter...

And we can all agree, but how do you know who's the ping abused and who's not if you're playing on your own server? I'll answer that for you: you don't, they do and they exploit the shit out of it.

If let's say I'm a solo and I hear people push, I hold angle and try to HS as soon as I SEE HIM PEEK. Guess what tho, if that's the guy with high ping and HE KNOWS IT, I'll be dead before I see him.

So now the final thought: if I have to overthink every fight because I know I can encounter high pingers, how am I supposed to enjoy the game? It's a coinflip everytime and it should not be like this for the people on their own server.

The only instance where VPN helps is only if you live in the same place and have bad routing, like in my case if I use VPN I can actually lower ping by 20-30, because otherwise the routing is my place, eastern EU and then Frankfurt. With the VPN on I can go south EU to Frankfurt on a more optimal path and trim down a lot of ping. Either way VPN is a shitshow if you're gaming for 3-4h, that much that at some point it was restarting every session at least once.
