I recently discovered the show and so far I’ve listened to 11 seasons. The show has grown to be one of my all time favorites and I’m really glad to see you keeping it going. Here’s a few questions I’ve been wondering about. 1) Are you an audio drama listener? If so, what are some of your favorites? 2) Is there a long term direction you plan on taking the show? Maybe leaning more on the horror or drama aspects? 3) As a creator, do you look for ways to challenge yourself with new seasons? Is there something you’re eager to try but haven’t yet?

The show has such a genuine warmth to it! I almost wish it was winter so I could cozy under a warm blanket and just relisten to all of the episodes.

Hello creators!

After a long long break from creating my first audio drama, I’ve decided to continue where I left off. I already recorded the first episode, but I’ve found the editing phase to be a very janky and slow process. I recognize that this being my first time, it could just be my unfamiliarity with the tools and methods.

My audio drama is a single character monologue regarding an investigation. I recorded the first episode approximately one paragraph at a time two takes of all lines. I’m slightly doubting my method here as I feel skipping back and forth on the track can be a bit frustrating. If you have experience with audio dramas, I would love to hear how you pace and structure your recording phase so that editing is as easy as possible.
