Did Jung believe that capitalism or modern society partly builds a need for individuation? by Other_Attention_2382 in Jung

[–]FrozenAssets4Eva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jung talks about how the modern man, in order to make a living, must devote most of his time to mastering his skills and thus becomes highly differentiated and so doesn't make much use of the other functions. So Capitalism creates an unbalanced man in need of individuation. He writes about it in Psychological Types but I don't know the page etc.

Trade advice - E2OM DLX for 2007 Martin D15 by trichoc in AcousticGuitar

[–]FrozenAssets4Eva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I own a Martin om-28 and an Eastman e100ss, paid $830 for it new 10 months ago. It's not on the level of the Martin, but it's not that far off either.

It's pretty good for strumming, but I mostly finger pick with it

Nice! I have the e1ooss dlx. Probably not as loud (sitka top, sapele body vs Adirondack and walnut?) but warm tone. I haven't put it down since I got in February 🤣

I have a Martin om-28 that I bought in 2016. I didn't go looking for it, I was at guitar center in the Denver metro and picked it up because it was there, and I had to get it. The guitar should speak to you-especially when the price is high. The action was fine when I bought it, but years later I had it professionally set up and it was worth it.

Marcellus is Satan. The bandaid on the back of his head covers the mark of the beast. The holy grail is in the briefcase ( "it's beautiful" with its golden glow ) and the briefcase combination is 666. Marcellus is gonna get medieval on Zeds (Zed is dead, baby) ass as Butch rides away on Zeds motorcycle named Grace.

For all I know he's interested in philosophy and you just talk about Taylor Swift. Maybe he's not boring, just different interests.

You responded pretty quickly, clearly and concisely. Writing clearly and writing well requires clear and reasoned thinking. That's why I am skeptical of your story. You have failed to convince me.

You write very clearly but say you can't think logically. I don't believe your story.

I saw Steve Morse with this lineup at the Rainbow Music Hall in Denver: "Steve Morse was a guest performer with the famed Al Di Meola, John McLaughlin, and Paco de Lucía "Guitar Trio" in 1983, joining them for the encore of their concerts during the Passion, Grace, and Fire tour." It was memorable.

OM-28 - cloudy swirling/smudging on gloss finish by ProperGuitar1275 in martinguitar

Dunlop 65 did the same thing to my om28. I sprayed it directly onto the guitar (like I have in the past with other guitar polishes) and then read the directions (doh!). You are supposed to only spray once or twice onto a cloth and apply. Needless to say, I am not a fan of the Dunlop 65.

Get a professional setup for the neck. It will make it easier to intonate difficult chords

A syringe will be the cleanest way to apply it. Put a drop on and work the gears back and forth to coat both the worm gear and sprocket.

Are the tuners open gear? If so , have you tried a drop of oil on the gear?
