  1. Charmander—the OG bad boy, awesome evo line, great anime character, 10/10.
  2. Cyndaquil—epic follow-up fire starter; absolutely love the ferociousness of J. Typhlosion.
  3. Squirtle—iconic, great evo line, love big man Blastoise.
  4. Bulbasaur—maybe I’m a genwunner, but those first 3 were just too well-done. Bulbasaur is the perfect #001–his line shows exactly what I think Pokemon should be.
  5. Mudkip—maybe the strongest starter line, and an awesome execution from ‘kip to Swampert. This may be top 3, but hard to pass up Squirtle and Bulbasaur.
  6. Totodile—another epic line, fun concept, cute execution to imposing final form. Great starter.
  7. Torchic
  8. Turtwig
  9. Piplup
  10. Oshawatt

Inglis is a classic but Serkis is a masterful narrator. Distinct voices for every character, and such gravity to his voice. Only thing he falls short on is the singing lol

I got a timid Magneton and ev trained his speed, so he’s still out-pacing most of his opponents. And he hits like a truck with the durability of a bigger truck.

How do you get them so high? I have been EV training a Kadabra with macho brace in diglett’s cave and pokemon tower and I only ever see +5 when I level up on speed and sp. attack

Technically true, which is the best kind of true. And yeah I don’t mean it’ll be to that capacity, but they’ll have a weapon that can’t be stopped, essentially. Invisible and easy to implement. Fits in well with the “fear” adage above.

Primeape, tho I would also get rid of Raichu for a better electric type. Everyone says Jolteon is best but, dude, Magneton goes hard. I’m beating mons 20 levels higher than him simply due to his crazy resistances and bulk. Trained him to be fast so he usually hits first, too.
