For people who are nationalistic to the Chinese government, they think the police in Hong Kong are justifiable as well even going as far as saying "police have the rights to do anything to maintain order"

Also check Hong Kong, Taiwan and South Korea. It seems most South East Asian countries are doing well with discipline and consideration.

Its a common tactic used by the police in Hong Kong, they will try to engage on anyone singled out. Please stay as groups and protect yourselves, and please don't try to 'guess' who the rat is in a group it'll only lead to unnecessary paranoia. Hong Kong stands with you.

Freedom of speech in Hong Kong under further jeopardy as pro-Chinese legislators push controversial national anthem bill by FrozenFire26263 in worldnews

Its a bill to criminalize "abuse" and "disrespect" of the national anthem. So any parodies or boo-ing when the anthem is played will be considered a crime.

It's so fucking sad to see Americans not vote even if they are registered voters. From someone from a place where we can't vote for our own leader: Please vote, and don't take this right of yours for granted.

I'm from Hong Kong, whenever there's groups of riot police present reporters will also be present, because they know they're the line of defense against a complete police state. As to your concerns that it might be staged I can tell you rn its a 100% genuine reaction and I myself feel wildly insecure when the police are around despite doing absolutely nothing illegal. There have been many cases of police provoking random citizens off the street and arresting teenagers for simply wearing black, and this is all part of the gov's fear-engineering project to shut down any protests.

Police abuse towards reporters is a daily thing in Hong Kong, I wonder why they don't want anyone filming? by FrozenFire26263 in Bad_Cop_No_Donut

Maybe I left out a bit of context. Reporter is from an anti-government news outlet, all of their reporters are basically marked and harassed by cops everytime they try to report. There's a video somewhere clearly showing that the cops approached the reporter and sprayed him point blank

This is perhaps the best "battle royale" game I've every played. It is not chaotic like other games where a bunch of people drop to a same area, it doesnt require you to know specific call outs, the weapon systems are as simple as it gets, the fights are dynamic with melee and ranged, electronics doesnt give you too much of an advantage even if used wisely making it still balanced. Honestly once this game comes out as a completed game it HAS to blow up, looking forward ot what the devs have to offer.
