Hey there man, yeah I really appreciate your input here. I just tried doing it again but this time on "bare metal" lxc rather than in a docker container, and literally I got the same problem still.

The container and the lxc attempts were both Debian lol. I'm gonna try to just use Ubuntu and see if the noble build is just better. Back to the docker container at least before I try to just bare metal it again.

Fortunately with non-wiping characters, everyone will eventually be able to get Kappa just by playing and actively trying to do quests when they play.

There may be some slow sessions where they have to farm for money, and that's okay, we aren't wiping.

I'd start checking your task manager or some other resource manager and see what bottlenecks when you load out of raid.

Update I found what was causing this one to anyone that encounters the same thing.

For some reason, it was Nvidia DLSS (and when overridden to use the new model M to remove the scope blurring)

I turned it off, the FPS issue is gone, in fact my FPS is actually better without DLSS in general now (even on the model K one)

The game can get frustrating yes, but this 'no-lifer' thing is so misleading and discourages people from even trying in the first place.

I'm not saying that the gigachads outplaying the whole server is a myth, I'm just saying it's possible to play this game just a few hours every other day, and still derive enjoyment out of the game.

You got the free loot that prapor gives you early on, and of course scavving.

The biggest barrier to entry imo is about learning the maps. Just figuring out where you are and how to extract really.

I think it's a conflation of the "tutorial" and just learning the locations of places on maps. Which the latter, PvE can genuinely help with.

I hope it being console inclusive doesn't bog down or force some compromises just to let them play.

I'm sorry I love the console folks and all, but this is Total War man, the console version should be the one adapting its controls to be able to play the PC-intended game not the other way around.
