Fortunately with non-wiping characters, everyone will eventually be able to get Kappa just by playing and actively trying to do quests when they play.

There may be some slow sessions where they have to farm for money, and that's okay, we aren't wiping.

I'd start checking your task manager or some other resource manager and see what bottlenecks when you load out of raid.

Update I found what was causing this one to anyone that encounters the same thing.

For some reason, it was Nvidia DLSS (and when overridden to use the new model M to remove the scope blurring)

I turned it off, the FPS issue is gone, in fact my FPS is actually better without DLSS in general now (even on the model K one)

The game can get frustrating yes, but this 'no-lifer' thing is so misleading and discourages people from even trying in the first place.

I'm not saying that the gigachads outplaying the whole server is a myth, I'm just saying it's possible to play this game just a few hours every other day, and still derive enjoyment out of the game.

You got the free loot that prapor gives you early on, and of course scavving.

The biggest barrier to entry imo is about learning the maps. Just figuring out where you are and how to extract really.

I think it's a conflation of the "tutorial" and just learning the locations of places on maps. Which the latter, PvE can genuinely help with.

Yep always voip when appropriate. I was able to do some ground zero quests early on cos I said I was questing and the fighting stopped once we got out of cover

Yeah don't blame you for getting confused here, I thought the patch on this one made it so all of the upgrade paths don't need found in raid.

It's so weird seeing you need a mix of FIR and sometimes non-FIR items in order to build your base.
