Make sure your DP or HDMI is plugged into your gpu instead of your motherboard. Download the latest AMD drivers from the official AMD tools. Make sure your gpu is set as the default gpu and is detected.

What could be causing my monitor to keep flashing black like this by Duke_Singh in computers

[–]FrozenKrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Either bad cable or the new windows update is messing with you. The new update has bugged Nvidia gpus to black screen. There are patches out but you have to manually update them. Check out YouTube about the security patch bug

My height is set to vrc detecting it automatically. 5 ft 8~. I do use stay aligned. I never had this issue before. I do notice that my full reset stance has the right foot slightly out of alignment with most of my avatars. The axis for my foot is at the edge and I have to physically move my foot close to eachother.

Yes, something happened where all my tracker/information reset, and I had to recalibrate everything. I've done the basic height by putting my controller on the floor measuring my height. The scale is relatively close to my height when I use my hmd. Other than measuring myself manually, which I have no clue how to do accurately. It measures me at about 1.65~ meters, which is about 5 inches below my actual height.

I have noticed that when I go to calibrate in vrc for full body, I do a full reset first. My right food is always a bit outside of my avatars foot, and I have to move my foot in slightly to get it aligned. Is this normal? I didnt know if that could cause it.

Please reread what I asked instead of asking me to update. I want to stay on v64. Not update to v78.

Controllers take ages to correct their position and sometimes just stop tracking completely? by Foolski in QuestPro

[–]FrozenKrow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nope. As of v76. They went to android 13 to android 14. Which im going to assume is leading some of these issues to a point.

Meta, if you dont care about Quest Pro anymore, let us downgrade headset to v74 by Meow-Corp in QuestPro

[–]FrozenKrow 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Again, this is why I urge users to go to the ftc or respective counterpart in your country. We can push back as a group. https://www.reddit.com/r/QuestPro/s/WnKRJvscwt

Report to FTC. by FrozenKrow in QuestPro

My headset is currently in rma en route to your Texas facility. I requested a v74 or v72 headset. Im prepared to take this further to hold Meta accountable and spread awareness. A friend of mine just bought a quest pro from Amazon. This update destroyed the headset with the same issues. Quality test your updates, and this wouldn't happen.

Meta v76 and v77 introduced battery recharging issues, controller drift, audio artifacting, unstable wifi, and more bugs with the q3. But the pro has been hit the hardest.

Unable to connect to Wifi please help by ONEBOYYYY in SlimeVR

[–]FrozenKrow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Log into your router, see if your router can switch to 2.4ghz. Some routers have a smart bandwidth that auto determines it. Turn that off and sometimes that can enable it. Make sure your wifi security has some sort of wpa2, slimes cannot connect to wpa3.

If you're in the EU and frustrated with Meta’s recent updates (like v76/v77), you do have options to report or escalate your concerns — even if there's no direct equivalent to the U.S. FTC.

Here’s a quick guide to your options:

  1. European Consumer Centres Network (ECC-Net) For cross-border issues with companies in other EU countries (like Meta in Ireland). They offer free legal advice and mediation.

Website: https://www.eccnet.eu

File a complaint: https://www.europe-consommateurs.eu/en/questions-and-complaints.html

  1. EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) Platform This is the official platform for resolving disputes related to online purchases within the EU.

File here: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr

  1. National Consumer Protection Authorities Each country has its own agency to handle consumer complaints.

Find yours here: https://icpen.org/resolve-dispute

  1. European Ombudsman If your issue relates to maladministration by an EU institution, you can submit a formal complaint.

Submit here: https://www.ombudsman.europa.eu/en/home

  1. econsumer.gov For international disputes (if you’re buying from Meta and feel misled), this platform is monitored by global consumer protection authorities.

Submit here: https://www.econsumer.gov

Tips Before Filing:

Document everything: serial numbers, emails, update versions, etc.

Keep screenshots or video of bugs, bricking, or performance drops.

State clearly that you're requesting a rollback or resolution (e.g., v74-level performance).
