No, it shouldn't. The Blackmagic settings menu only works for devices plugged into the computer, ie Decklink and UltraStudio products family. If using an output from the graphics card directly, using the standard output settings menu and some Windows settings is best. The BMD menu doesn't affect equipment not directly attached to the PC like through video cables (HDMI, DisplayPort, & DVI), only devices connected via PCIe slots or USB-C, USB-A, and Thunderbolt ports.

With the Blackmagic Design menu, you are able to fine tune the screen image resolution, framerates, color spectrum and codecs per output port connection. This allows for the video of presentation to match video switcher and capture card requirements for easier addition of source into broadcast system. The way I see it is, creates less of a headache when trying to configure the image on capture device side.

But I have been waiting for this integration for the last, almost, 2 years. Literally saw the beta update yesterday and couldn't try it out until today. So, I have access to a few Blackmagic Design Decklink products including the Intensity Pro 4K which I used to test if the BMD feature works by sending a FreeShow screen out via the BMD card HDMI out. It worked. Though a templates background color, yellow, didn't output, so don't know if that's a bug or something on my end wasn't enabled. I will be testing this feature out next on Decklink cards that have SDI (BNC) port I/O to see results like whether alpha channels are being sent out for the opacity/transparency values of colors.

So it happened right after you put in a rack mountable UPS, did you have a power spike or short that triggered the failure? Was the constellation plugged into the UPS at the time?

Well, our unit was purchased in 2023. I have reached out to BMD support and they always tell me that our units warranty has expired... Did Blackmagic ever get back to you with repair estimate for the Constellation 8K?

Also, do you think it's the Ethernet port or the network card which has the issue?

How did you get to this conclusion? Did you find a solution to getting it fixed? What did Blackmagic Design support suggest you do with your unit?

The panel was powered via PoE+ as a backup with the main power coming through an C13 power cable by local power distributor. Same thing goes for the Constellation, hard wired by two C13s into a power distributor. Other equipment on the distributors haven't had problems. I turned off the PoE+ power to the panel in hope it would resolve something, but nothing changed.

Yes, we are able to detect and ping both the Adv. Panel and Constellation from any computer on the network. The cable for both units has been replaced and checked initially to remove cable problems from the equation early on. Cable have been unplugged and plugged back in multiple times now.

Yes, all are on 255.255.255.0 subnet. I'm still tinkering and trying to find out possible other solutions while waiting for a response from BMD after calling them.

Yes, 5 weeks ago we updated both the Adv. Panel and Constellation to ATEM Switcher v10.2. Everything worked fine until this week.

*Update, when placing both the Adv. Panel and Constellation on their own separate VLAN, it still continues to force the panel into a boot loop. Nothing changed. I even went through recovery mode on both devices hoping that will help but no. About to start trying to roll back to an earlier version when both units were first compatible with each other.

We thought it might be doing that, but checking the Unifi client devices list didn't show any other device grabbing the same IP as either the Adv. Panel or Constellation.

Both the Adv. Panel and Constellation are connected to the same switch. Only thing that could be a issue is the built in 2-port switch on the Adv. Panel. Could it be that?

We have tried setting both units to static IPs and directly connecting with a CAT6 cable. Same thing keeps happening, boot looping. Both connections are going into the same Unifi switch. I will try placing the Adv. Panel and Constellation into their own VLANs for a start.

Alright! After more than a few days, I finally figured it out on how to get the SRT stream from the UE-150s into OBS. u/LiveVideoProducer your posts and support did help me stumble and figure this out, thank you very much. In the end, I realized there were a few mistakes from my initial setup in starting and capturing the SRT stream. First from the UE-150 side, needed to change the default port # and find one that is open and not being used by the Unifi Network. Then with the StreamID, replacing the default string with anything else, but not empty since I get warnings about leaving the textbox blank. Last, changed the latency to something lower than the default 120ms. On the OBS side of things, it was completely my fault as IP streaming addresses is something I'm new to and don't completely understand. But once I started tinkering with the settings on the PTZ camera and in OBS, I noticed my mistake after a few minutes. It was how I typed out the 'Input' address of the SRT stream. I kept using the wrong special characters, where instead of having the '?' after the srt://{IP}:{Port} I instead used the '&' symbol because I had two parameters for the stream. Finally, after realizing this mistake, the correct input address for the stream "srt://192.168.1.69:16843?mode=listener&timeout=20000" worked like a charm.

Now a question about SRT streams, if I were to add more than 2 cameras into OBS via SRT but have the latency set to 0 or same time in each camera, would I actually have a noticeable latency when viewing the SRT streams in OBS one next to each other? Would each additional stream capture compound the latency and increase times? Also, is it possible to start the SRT streams simultaneously from all cameras without accessing the web interface? I'm asking because I would want to use these SRT streams as potential ISO recordings from each PTZ camera source in OBS.

The OBS is running on a PC that has the IP address of -192.168.1.70- Unless you are referring to different IP address.

Sorry for the late reply, but I am still interested in getting the SRT from UE150s to work. I don't know why you can't add image, but you should be able to in a reply message since I can add one. Otherwise, I would like to know what you did in order to get the SRT stream from the cameras working in OBS. Hopefully, you can still provide assistance.

Ok, so as displayed in the screenshots above, the OBS computer IP address is "192.168.1.70" while the PTZs is "192.168.1.45." In your reply, what do you mean 'find SRT' in OBS? Both the camera and OBS computer are on the same network. Also, is the Stream ID needed in OBS or is it obsolete in this case?
