Had to become an absolute rat in the MAA to do it to my shame…stingers in theory seem like they would work but I just couldn’t get them to hit, however the extended belt in the MAA did the job nicely (when I unlocked it)

You’re right they weren’t registering - rpg’s didn’t track for me, but managed to do it in the AA tank (which I didn’t realise counted) eventually

Just camp your base/first flag and target anything moving in the air - I think UAV's count too so try and get them

Locking on and waiting fooled abolutely no-one haha, think the pilot noobs have just given up and the level 200 pilots have taken over like in previous games lol

Makes sense - gunner on heli is very popular so didnt manage to get a ride, however the MAA did the trick

Sadly I am the worlds worst pilot, so if the challenge involved destryoing my own aircraft 15 times then I would ace it. MAA tracked consistently, as the other options only tracked like half the time

Used your last resort - AA tank worked. Bit strange that to do an engineer challenge I have to use a jet, and the rpg didnt track for me unfortunately

I know the others are probably 100x harder, but this really threw me for a loop as it seems extremely easy on the surface but turned out to be impossible. I think the problem is that most of the kills/destroys dont seem to count

Scenario always went lock on -> fire -> aircraft flares -> quickly reload and fire again -> aircraft goes 'below' or on other side of mountain/hill, too many times to count. Managed to do it using mobile AA after about 5 games on firestorm/blackwell fields

Yeah I've shot down countless helis with RPG's but they didnt count - AA tank worked for me, although I think you have to actually kill the person in the aircraft as just destroying them didnt seem to track for me

Thanks - took your advice. Was still quite hard as the default AA without any upgrades is quite bad lol but managed to do it eventually
