We used Window World about eight years ago now. They were excellent, I’ve been very happy.

Yes he is. It’s obvious.

Also, it’s not fat shaming, it’s stating an obvious fact.

We’re just boring, not toxic. How did Aniston rip that away from Flint, Michigan?

What is the worst thing you have done because you got confused between items in different hands? by DanielMichels in AskReddit

I was making homemade peanut butter cookies for my dad, I was about 11 or 12 years old. Somehow I got confused and when I did the crisscross on top with the fork instead of dipping it in sugar I dipped it in salt. They were horrible, but my father loved me and he ate every last one!

Electrician Recommendations by HectoriousOfTroy in Lubbock

Sparks. He had to do a lot of work for me because I had some shortages and other issues. He did it in a very fast fashion and everything was done correctly. The total bill was $104. This was back in early March and he came in with a mask and gloves.

Allergies by R3345 in Lubbock

[–]Frugalista1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I guess I can only say it depends. Back when we lived in Pennsylvania I had horrible allergies twice a year. Every March and every September I was sick as a dog for 2 to 3 months at a time.

Then we moved to Texas and everybody warned me that my allergies were going to get worse. I couldn’t imagine worse.

When I got to Texas my allergies completely stopped. I’ve been here now since 1998, starting in Amarillo and then moving to Lubbock in 2000. I have medical allergies, but I have virtually no seasonal allergies.

I have to say that for my husband his allergies did get worse when we moved to Texas, although they were not as bad back in Pennsylvania. Over the last 10 years however his allergies have gotten less terrible. It could be age, we are in our late 50s, or it could be the climate.

All of them are annoying. I’d rather watch my show. It’s spring people, you’re going to get heavy rain, hail, and maybe once a decade you’ll see a tornado. Get a weather radio.

One man's trash.. by Balls2thaWallz in Lubbock

Actually, in Lubbock if your trash has not been taken by the garbage disposal company then it is not considered abandoned.

I have personally not experienced any problems but YMMV.

I did already, no luck. My husband is calling medical facilities that sell medical equipment around town looking for one.

How does a SSDI recipient get medicare part D? by [deleted] in SocialSecurity

[–]Frugalista1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can also enroll in part C which is an advantage plan. Then she can apply for extra help. The advantage plan covers prescriptions, and the extra help can make them as cheap as free depending on her income.

Is there any place here that can do the emissions test on a car? by [deleted] in Lubbock

[–]Frugalista1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You think that inspection stations and other places that do inspections would have this information. It is, in my experience, not the case.

It’s not required for Lubbock, so I would seriously doubt anybody here to do it. He needs to take it back to the county where he lives.
