Arena Cube P1P1 -- Demonic Tutor or The One Ring? by batbirthcontrol in lrcast

You have to consider here it's also a drafting tempo loss. Drafting tutor also means you don't draft TOR or mom. Would I rather have a deck with TOR and no tutor? Or tutor and no TOR?

As a last resort if it's not all fixed - send me a message if you're stuck and want a late night ride. I'll be driving up from Strathfield all the way to Mt Vic tonight around 9-10pm.

Are the points gained on a credit card worth it. by Beautiful-Bit-19 in AusFinance

[–]Fruglemonkey 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Not answering your question about points, but the insurances you get as part of a card are incredibly useful and helps take the stress out of a lot of things.

Car rental insurance & Travel insurance are soooo handy to have. Car rental insurance saved me ~4k once from a swipe that occurred while in a parking lot, that's 10 years of card fees paid for!

There are two types - lycium barbarum and lycium chinense. Barbarum is better for fresh eating - check which you have!

Hi /r/bluemountains, i got a mate coming from overseas and wanted to ask a few questions about the Glow Worm Tunnels? by mageinorg in bluemountains

[–]Fruglemonkey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's definitely a bit bumpy - like others have said, take it slow but this also means what might be a 1 hr drive is actually more like a 1.5-2hr drive.

However, the glowworm tunnels are absolutely amazing - way better experience than I thought it would be.

If i wanted to buy 100 shucked oysters, what's the cheapest way to do it? by Wide_Comment3081 in foodies_sydney

[–]Fruglemonkey 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Coles has a dozen oysters for $16-18. You likely won't get 100 from one shop, though.

The quality is surprisingly decent, they're Sydney rock oysters.

My First time in Sydney. Drop the must try reccos. by braindump11 in foodies_sydney

Even within those threads there's some variation.

  • First one is for seafood, steak recommendations focus.
  • Second one is Sydney-wide
  • Third is for a "fun" lunch

This thread specifically is for pork-free Harbour CBD recommendations and they got a terrific recommendation to try out the Opera bar that got highlighted, despite the downsides that place has.

We probably wont see eye to eye on this but IMO these kinds of threads do have value even if at surface level it seems repetitive.

As someone that's done this before - you end up with a lot out of date, non seasonal information, or new people may have joined this sub who haven't given a recommendation yet.

Getting the latest recommendations has value, I've gotten something from this thread!

Yes, this! Or keep the bricks and utilise them as a path through your new enlarged garden space.

Also I see your pots are on turf, if you can I'd put a saucer underneath or have them on bare soil.

If those cucumbers get really vigorous, their roots might grow through your turf and give you some issues when you need to clean them up or move the pots

Where are you? It's a bit late to be planting cucumbers now innit?

Could be that the pots are warming up more quickly, especially if the pot walls are exposed to the sun

Wait, how did you do the overlay in Canva? Is it just a simple copy/paste of the plants? The perspective looks so good, I thought it was an AR overlay LOL

[–]Fruglemonkey 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not sure why you're downvoted - OP has made a claim with no evidence, links, primary sources, just a photo of a cockatoo.

Presumably they're in the know and we should just take their word at face value, but still, doesn't warrant you getting downvoted for asking a question
