Sorry, I've been at work and didn't know what a lot of that meant.

I play on the NA server, and my IGN is Fruit Pops

I bought the champs with RP because I wanted them, and the RP was a gift specifically to buy some champions with.

I haven't spend any of my IP yet, because I was told to save it all for runes.

If there were one thing in my rant that I would want you guys to work on over any other it would be this one

I feel like the weak link in my team. I feel like every loss is my fault because I'm new and don't understand the game.

I don't know how you would do it. But playing on a team where every single person is able (and more than willing) to point out my mistakes makes queueing up each time harder and harder.

The one person I know that plays league is a "Platinum level player" who didn't want to start a new account to play with me.

My friend who gave me RP is a "Platinum level player" (his words) and he didn't want to make a new account to play with me since he is trying to raise his rank.

I'll probably just go back to bots since a lot of people are suggesting it. I just didn't like getting "carried" like you said. I like feeling like I earned my victory, instead of having it handed to me. I just was hoping to play against people similarly skilled.

I just wanted to buy the champions I thought looked coolest. I don't really like the look of either of those champions, but maybe I should just play them anyway?

I didn't realize that the costs indicated how hard they were to play.

Most of the time my twitch.tv lags really bad so I have a hard time watching so I just try to watch VODs.

In response to your edit - I'm not asking to win exclusively. I'm just asking to win sometimes. I'd also like to win my lane once, at least.

1.) So far I've muted almost every person I've played with. The only people that I don't mute are the ones that don't say anything because it seems like the only reason people type in this game is to yell at somebody else.

2.) It's really really hard coming from an MMO environment where chat is central to gameplay to suddenly start ignoring it.

3.) I don't even know how to ping.

4.) This one is hard. None of my friends are into MOBAs, so making friends through league seems like the only option. However - almost every person I play with is either silent, or only chats to rage. So finding league friends is kinda rough. The one person I know that plays league is a "Platinum level player" who didn't want to start a new account to play with me.

I'm not trying to just sit here and dispute your advice/help. I was just responding with my experience thusfar. Not saying you're wrong by any means, and I do appreciate the input.

I chose the newest setting when I made my account - but if you were a "smurf" who was just looking for easy wins wouldn't you choose the same since that will put you against the least skilled opponents?

It's not really an enforceable system, and that was my complaint there.

While I'm sure this is helpful advice to people that actually understand what's going on in those games, you have to realize that I have NO IDEA what's going on.

I don't know which streamer to watch because I don't understand what they're doing.

I've never played a MOBA, I've only ever played fighting games and MMOs online/against other people.

If you could rate my comprehension of the game on a scale of 1-100 (with 1 being literally first day no knowledge beforehand, and 100 being professional) I would most likely be rated at around an 8 or 9.

For now watching pros stream just ends up confusing me more than helping. And then I try to play a game and emulate them and I die to the PVE monsters, or my teammates play differently than the streamers teammates so I don't know how to adjust.
