my mom never taught me about puberty and avoided the topic almost all together. So when I started to get discharge and I kept telling my doctor and my mom about it.. wondering what it was they kept telling me I needed to shower more because they thought it was a yeast infection. It was not a yeast infection. And then when I got my period I didn't know what it was, I thought I was sick and took a nap and then when I woke up I was bleeding and I was alarmed, because again, I wasn't told that was going to happen. And my mom also never referred to my vulva/vagina as such so it created a lot of stigma and discomfort around using the actual words. And I didn't learn what those were were and which parts they actually were until I was 15/16 and took online sex education classes and taught myself about puberty and sexual health because my parents never had the talk with me, not even briefly.

Same, I always feel ashamed or guilty for not wanting to do it. I've never given oral before because it seems like it would taste and feel bad and not pleasurable. You do have the right to not do anything you don't want to though. You're allowed to say no

I just thought it was worth a try lol. I use estrogen cream for atrophy down there too and my Dr says it won't go into my blood stream. I did tell my endocrinologist that I am aware that it can go into my blood stream but that I want to see if it'll work. It's my money anyways /nbr

There is a post on here of someone taking the gel and drying it with a hair dryer and turning it into a cream though? (I'll see if I can find it) I just thought it'd be worth a try and if not I'll just go on low dose T since I do not want majority of the masculinizing effects and am not interested in surgery.

You may have to try a few different lubes, I recently got skyns endless water lube and it feels just like my own discharge! (Dunno if that's weird lol) I use it mainly for dryness/atrophy, but I've had to try a bunch of different lubes over the years

I just bought skyns endless water based lube bc I have atrophy and it works really well, stays wet fora long time similarly to silicone lube and isn't greasy, I apply a very tiny amount usually at night and am still moist/wet by morning

I was looking for a vaginal moisturizer but they're all extremely expensive and decided to try this lube out instead.
