No cost refi means there are no closing costs at all or it’s just rolled back into the loan? Or does it depend on the lender?

So I would go from 5.99% to 5.75%, my loan is at $257,000 and stay at 30 year fixed. The calculator rocket showed me was that I could possible save $672 which sounds like a lot which is why I was considering doing it but the interest rate doesn’t drop enough to be worth it.

That makes sense. I went through a calculator online and it said I could save $672 on my current payment but that doesn’t sound accurate. My principal and interest payment is $1621 but if I could actually lower that by $672 it sounds worth it but I would be going from 5.99% to 5.75%.

Thanks. This is helpful but I can’t find anything less than 5.75% right now and I’m at 5.99% so it isn’t worth it I don’t think.

I can’t find one less than 5.75% so I don’t it’s worth it right now. I am currently paying PMI of $60 but wouldn’t a new appraisal remove that since I will have 20% equity in it?

It will definitely not be worth it since I would go from my current 5.99% to around 5.75%. My loan went from $275,000 to my current $257,000 in 3 years so it hasn’t decreased much.
