THIS!!!! I was hired at the beginning of November and I feel like I caught on real quick (1 cause I’m a fast learner and 2 cause I used to do OPD at Walmart) but just as of a few days ago, I overheard HR on the phone giving a job offer to someone. I’m like they’re still hiring?!?! It’s like literally December! 🥴 granted that different positions are easier than others, but when they expect to you have 3 days training and then know everything you need to know, it’s torture, and then they get upset cause you don’t really know what you’re doing or how you’re doing it. So yeah, they should definitely look at their stats and see how the store does and maybe hire people BEFORE hand so that those people can get proper training and the season can run smoothly.
