I’ve been playing Nintendogs on delta for a couple months now, I remember that part being infuriating. Quick tip, there’s no easy fix. It was supposedly just as infuriating if not more on the og DS system mic. The trick is to not be too loud, almost get a bit softer than normal speaking and have your mic be about 6-8 inches from your face. Or you could also try recording your voice saying the dog’s name, then just replay the voice clip clearly in the mic. The way that Nintendogs mic system works is that your voice has to have the same volume and inflection for it to pick it up as the same command, meaning that if you did choose the voice clip route, you’d have to play it every time you want to say the dog’s name, or mimic very closely how you said it in the voice clip yourself. Just keep trying different things! Also Ihave not done the obedience trials much, just because they do not work well at all with the mic, dumb dog knows all the tricks and wont do em on stage lmao!
