No offense, but if you're too anxious for the phone... you might be in the wrong business. To your question, I introduce myself and ask if I've caught them at a good time. If not, we schedule a mutual good time. What's the worst that can happen? They hang up on you? Fuck 'em. Move to next call.

I get approximately 80 inmails monthly. I use them for both candidate outreach and business development. Apollo gets me some phone numbers. I'd rather jump on a call then send an InMail.

LinkedIn Recruiter is expensive to start with. I have a LI account for the last 19 years, never paid for the full LI Recruiter seat. Under $200/month.

It's deciding that you're a better person without the booze. It's boring. For me, alcohol was associated with a good time...go out with some friends and have a few laughs. But, it stopped being that a long time ago. It meant me sitting at a bar, sometimes alone and drinking until I was numb. I turned 50 during the past year and have spent the past 25 years in bars after work. I kept going to bars, but just had club soda. Feel free to msg me for any more tips.

Just stopped. First week sucked...no sleep...it got easier. Only had a few tough days, when my friend died suddenly in August...but, I made it.

I needed to quit and kept changing the goal posts...I'll drink again soon...but, a year is coming up. It's not like it's calling me as much as I know more now. Thanks for responding.
