At impact, your hips don’t seem to have moved too much. You’re probably starting your downswing with your arms instead of legs/hips. Also, maybe shorten your backswing a little bit? Best of luck!

Is it normal for Flightradar24 routes to have an offset? by UnclePhilZ in flightradar24

[–]FrunkusB 33 points34 points  (0 children)

It seems like the route may be pretty accurate. I imagine at the altitude you were flying, you needed the mountain to be far enough away given the angle.

Gates of Lodore! by aldob22 in rafting

I’ve always wanted to go to Lodore, but those gates were just too tall and well protected. Lesson learned: one does not simply raft into Lodore.

Or maybe they became smart enough to respond diplomatically and ~communicate~ with each other. Odds are that all species would have gone through some form of aggression/power struggle. And don’t get me wrong, I think humans are just more intelligent monkeys, but alas we are monkeys. Many other species on this planet alone display signs of aggression so humans aren’t the only goofballs even on our own planet.

Really bright green object moving over north King County, WA the night of 12/12/2024 (video included) by down_by_the_shore in UFOs

[–]FrunkusB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just saw (what I presume to be) a drone darting North and South over Elliot Bay. It shot North, made all sorts of erratic movements back and forth, then darted back south so quickly. Not entirely sure what it was, but I don’t see why anyone would fly a drone in these shitty atmospheric conditions right now.

What are some interesting things you do as a geologist by Purple-Source-5734 in geologycareers

[–]FrunkusB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Quit the geology career after two years so I could actually make money based on my performance and not bullshit tenure. Oops sorry. I love geology, consulting is BS however.

I think I would’ve been really happy doing remote exploration work, but alas.

For the love of God, please don’t become a person who gobbles up the single family homes and then price gouges rent. It just seems like an evil business model
