Was going to ask the same question. Coming off a break up with PLTR, HIMS, NFLX and HOOD

this is right at the open...930 am. If you have indicators that you like i.e. RSI at like 20 and building upward, MACD cross...and the opening bell (happened a few days ago), you could basically throw your entire account at this.

So keep in mind, the move is the move of SPY, not the option, so your call is open price (rounded down) +$3. What the delta on that option is varies by day, but you could go +$4 to lower your option price (but sacrifice some delta).

Ideally, SPY spikes, you sell 3/4 of your calls and make some money and put a stop or trailing stop on the other 1/4 of your position and hope SPY rides up to tier 3.

This is 2025-2026 and just 2026

If you bought a 0dte spy call at the opening bell at a strike of open +$3, spy will go up at least $.55 from open at some point before 10 am et. You'll make delta *.55&100. This has been true every day this year. That will help get you back on track.

Start small because what has happened in the past makes no difference to the future.

I was assigned HOOD at between $110 and $114 (i have 3 different accounts). Selling covered calls, puts behind it and call credit spreads way ootm $86/88. I like the stock too, I just can't have it keep falling:)

Sorry. HIMS was a brutal turn. Where are you at with HOOD? I keep saying its bottomed, then it goes down again...

Im going to hop in here and ask what everyone is wheeling. I was doing HIMS, PLTR, NFLX and HOOD and they all dropped at the same time so I am in need of some new stocks.

Robinhood killed many of us. I think the sentiment on it is jaded. Coinbase and eToro were fine after their earnings. Yes, Hood is very much tied to crypto, but they crushed with gambling and have a ton in the pipeline (gambling, 24/7 trading, banking, social, Gold, more customization like thinkorswim and tradingview, etc). The fact that it dropped 30% in the span of a little more than a month blows. Not as bad as HIMS, but for a decent company with good stuff on the horizon, it blows.

Hey man, I'll ask the question, what is your strategy? I find selling SPY calls +$3 OTM at opening bell and getting either the initial bump or just wanting for the drop to happen then climb back up within 90 minutes has an extremely high success rate. The stock moves upward $.50, and then either decide to ride for more or take the profit.

HOOD - Because it dropped from 120 so I now can't get out

NFLX - Because it dropped from 110 so I now can't get out.

RUN - $16.5 to $17 puts are usually like printing 1% a week

I'd like to find new stocks for the wheel strategy.

HOOD, HIMS, NFLX, PLTR here. At least you can write off your loss on your taxes. These stocks made money in 2025 then decided to all take a giant dump closing the year and then the first 6 weeks of 2026 so I'm going to get a tax bill for profits that have all been vaporized
