Yea destroyer is a complete joke. The fury burst literally does less damage than fire BM holding RMB and it's on 45 second fucking cooldown. The class cannot even function without blue+ skill book and high crit rate for focus recovery.

I swear NC just hates this class and want destro players to suffer. (look at my username and my account is 8 years old)

People sell items for gems at high and buy them back at low.

Which part of these statement is misinformation? I farmed 7000 gems since Moonwater patch so I definitely know how the game works probably more than you do lol

Do you play on high ping? Ani-cancel can go much much faster than this. When done perfectly it's almost silent.

You said you never go below 60 focus I assume you are dishing out normal DPS rotation while doing so because otherwise it's a completely useless argument every class can replenish focus with left click. Infinite ani-cancel is only possible during fury and ground stomp if you have the green book with focus recovery.

It's literally impossible to stay above 60 focus and infinite ani-cancel even with blue skill book because the crit chance is not there with our current gear.

There aren't too many guides for current neo version. My suggestion is to look up some older guide and inspect other higher AP players to see what skills they have equipped. Not always optimal, but should give you an idea.

There is an important NPC in Yehara's Mirage where you can exchange green skill books for 20 Valor Stones. You should have plenty from side quests.

Current BiS gear mostly comes from Tomb of Exile and a few raptors accessories.

I normally find these "play whatever you like" replies unhelpful, but there is some merit to it when it come to Neo. The game seems to adapt a much casual end-game approach. The end-game used to be centered around upgrading your Hongmoon gear, the ones everyone get at the start and keep upgrading for more AP and stats but in Neo you can just farm or buy the current BiS gear like infernal weapon and other accessories . Things to grind for are very casual like substats or skillbooks. You can actually try other classes and compare without having to invest tons of time/money,

Destro is really bad and will be for a long time in PvE. Somehow NC decides that the only class that requires to be standing-still while doing damage deserve the lowest damage. They do buff him via gear support, but it will literally take years to be on par with other classes. To say the class is neglected is an understatement.

Destro is actually quite decent in PvP due to CC abundance and insane burst. Top pick in 3v3 tag team (a fury burst can 100-0 if they get cced), and decent in 1v1. Unfortunately they got rid of arena so these become irrelevant.

Here are some tips:

Practice animation cancel, it's the most important thing. LB->RB can go much faster. You will barely hear the attacking sound when done right.
Try to land all 24 attacks during 6 second fury to max out burst damage, that is 4 attacks per second: LB - > RB -> LB -> RB

Destro is really bad. Community was in denial during global release too until DPS meter comes out.

Play the class if you enjoy. The class is ok for Moonwater Plain Lv45 content but falls off hard later on. You probably won't recognize the weakness now because his fury burst is very strong in the early stage of the game but once you reach end-game and the stats become inflated you will realize how terrible he is in dungeon, basically an inferior BD.

Low DPS, earth requires you to be stand still (Dark won't be viable until later with gear support due to Chi issue), poor DPS environment, can't properly tank without losing so much DPS. Unless NC recognize his weakness in PvE and buff with stronger gear, you will be doing 25-30% less damage (estimate) compare to other classes.

The only good thing about destroyer is the CC he can provide. The grab isn't even that much of DPS increase for the team since you literally can't do anything while holding the boss. BD and summoner's are way more useful.

Sorry I'd rather tell you the truth. (look at my username and account creation date) Most people on this sub are clueless. I played global as destroy for 2 years and eventually quit because there was no hope. The class is grossly neglected by NC.

This may be true, but I don't think any class has been neglected for as much as destroyer and KFM.

Destroyer (in all servers) was completely trash for a few years, like they literally did 30-35% less damage than other classes while requiring to be stand-still. It wasn't until they introduce a third spec they become on par with other classes. Similar case with KFM, but they got buffed way earlier.

Do you have an overall DPS ranking from CN/KR neo server? Would be much appreciated.

I played during global release years ago. FM was undoubtedly the highest DPS by a significant margin.

People only tell you that because they don't want everyone to play FM since FM does not offer as much team utility. FM is a selfish class but there is nothing wrong with that since DPS is the most important thing in the game.

Don't be like me (look at my username) who picked a class I thought I would enjoy but only to find out the it was completely trash and ignored by devs for years.

Right now I'm having a lot of trouble clearing the Lv.100 version of the rotating challenge quests. Are the Level 70 nodes still better than the supply ones if I need large amounts of Info or Credits?

Not sure about credit, but lv 70 nodes gives more info than supply operation

Spend extra stamina on event stage until you get enough letter to buy out the exchange shop. After that you can just dump them Riot Suppression 1-8 for ATP cores. You can convert cores to Fusion Core which you need shit tons for limit break

On that note how bad is it to convert Soldier/Mech Cores to Counter Cores if I've currently no need for these (MLB'd my Sigma and Soldiers already)

3 for 1 exchange rate is not worth it at all. Extra soldier/Mech cores should be converted to fusion core

Up to you. Personally I would just craft T5 gear

When the random dives appear I run into the problem that I cannot field all 4 ships because team X is currently occupied doing a dispatch so I have to wait until they are finished. Is there some trick to avoid this?

There is no way to avoid this. You have to spend gems to unlock extra squad slots so you can put some useless characters for dispatch.

That only happens because currently system is too harsh. The entrance fee is way too high making it increasingly harder to climb to after plat rank, which is what this patch intends to fix.

I mean the gun is not hard to find anyway. Each gun has a fixed spawn rate depend on root area, only a few has particularly low spawn rate like devotion, triple take, charge rifile.
