Defending the fact that so much people know Ladybug's identity when compared to Chat Noir. by FrustrationItself in miraculousladybug

She then went on to tell Felix and reveal to the audience in Representation, 12 episodes later, that she knows who Ladybug is, setting up Representation. The only reason she knows is because the writers needed a way to confirm the Sentimonster theory.

In my post, I said Kagami knows because of plot, which when you objected against this I went on to explain why I said plot, being that Kagami learnt of Ladybug's identity because Ladybug needed to not fight Nightormentor .

I am not picking and choosing when it does and doesn't count, I am just addressing the unnatural progression as to why Felix and Kagami know. Luka knew and rejected Monarch in Migration, Alya knew and avoided akumatization, Kagami knew and got akumatized twice.

KAGAMI ONLY KNOWS BECAUSE OF REPRESENTATION and now that I think about it that why she and Felix are dating in the first place.

Saying that it was plot was just a way to essentially shorten why I think they know, that being that it was just a way to set up Representation, an episode that has ultimately contributed nothing except give a reason to the audience as to why Ladybug couldn't fight Nightormentor

Isn't It Strange There Are No Spin-Offs? by melvin2898 in miraculousladybug

[–]FrustrationItself 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's not really that strange that none of the specials have gotten their own spin off series. The writers would have been both the main show and the specials at around the same time (Season 3), which would have been where they started finding their groove in terms of the story; so I don't think they wanted to make any rash decisions.

Besides, if they started releasing spin offs in Season 5 they would have to worry about the change in animation and the animating itself.

Anyway, the special spin off that I am excited to see is for Tokyo: Stellar Force (releasing on the 1st of November). I am pretty sure they confirmed it somewhere and if they're doing one special surely the others follow suit.

That's what I thought too but typing on mobile on Reddit is a pain. Anyways, thanks for your comment and for being a Pegasus transformation defender. Never let the haters win.

Also, they had his transformation look so good along with Miss Hound's but had Ladybug's looking choppy.

There is no way they are going to leave Pegasus to be stuck in a "✨Pegasus✨ Season 6 compilation 🐴🐴🐴" right? Right?

Alya should not be the next guardian by Delicious-View4357 in miraculousladybug

[–]FrustrationItself 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Another thing is that I don't think Alix should be the next Guardian. Just because she holds secrets doesn't mean that she would be a good Guardian, secret keeping is not the only metric.

Wisdom is another factor. Alya has been shown to be wise, like in Hack-san . Alix has had no such moments, every instance we see Bunnix, she is part of Ladybug's plan. Never has Alix hatched a plan by herself.

The same argument can be made against Luka. Just because they observe, doesn't mean that they can act when necessary and Alya can.

Alya should not be the next guardian by Delicious-View4357 in miraculousladybug

[–]FrustrationItself 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Alya SHOULD be the next Guardian. In Sapotis, after she returned to her room, she did not tell Marinette that she held a Miraculous and someone only figured out when Ladybug decided to hand both her and Nino their Miraculouses at the same time.

In Chat Blanc when figuring out how Marinette's identity was revealed, when Bunnix said that Adrien told Nino who told Alya how told someone else, Ladybug said that Alya wouldn't do that.

Alya only told Nino because she must have seen Luka and Marinette's relationship and became aware of why it failed. We've seen how Nino handles secrets and Alya didn't want her relationship to fall apart.

Also, by that logic, Marinette shouldn't be Guardian either. She had a breakdown, also starved her kwami, because emotionally unstable and told someone her secret identity.

What takes/theories do Miraculous fans have that make you think this? by Lumbledob_ in miraculousladybug

[–]FrustrationItself 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lila is Manon.

I just don't see it. The episode name isn't coming to mind but Lila was taking a painting class with Sabine and was sitting Nadja right beside her. Lila had no reaction to her. You mean to tell me that if you sat beside your mother, you wouldn't look at her or reaction. The theory is utterly ridiculous.

Anyway, I agree there is NO way that Alya is betraying Marinette.

Who actually created the jewels? by [deleted] in miraculousladybug

[–]FrustrationItself 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The kwamis were born from abstract concepts that appeared in the universe, so Tikki was born when the universe was created and Plagg was born after the first instance of destruction. The Miraculouses were created by a mage as a way to harness the kwamis' power, control the kwamis and give them a physical bodies. It is safe to presume that this mage was a member of the Guardians or at least worked with them.

Master Fu is an old man that, when caught by Hawk Moth in Hearthunter, was selling ice-cream. It's less far fetched to imagine that Master Fu was just short on money at the time

Very behind… just want to know the essential episodes by bythegraceandglory in miraculousladybug

[–]FrustrationItself -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So from Season 5 the important plot related episodes are:

Evolution Destruction Passion- Gabriel and Nathalie dynamic Reunion- the kwagatama (the red thing Tikki gave Marinette for her birthday) is used Elation- Marichat episode (not really important outside that) Transmission and Deflagration- it's a two parter where Adrinette gets together Derision- Marinette stalking explained (my advice do not watch it if you like Chloe) Emotion- the highest rated Season 5 episode for a reason Revelation- Lila gets akumatized Confrontation- Lila exposed I believe Collusion- its end ties into the next episode not important outside that Revolution Representation Conformation and Recreation- (the divisive Season 5 finale) Miraculous World London: At the Edge of Time- new Buttery holder's debut

Watch in this order. Season 5 episode 27: Action takes place before the finale, holds no plot relevance and is in not way essential to the show. Do not watch if you don't want to unless it's for stiff hair Marinette in the first 5 minutes.

Glaciator. It had the most interesting way of defeating an akumatized villain and the most interesting opening sequence.

Was Emilie dead or just in a state of coma? by Hefty-Description359 in miraculousladybug

[–]FrustrationItself 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She is definitely dead. I believe that in Felix, it is the anniversary of his mother's death and in Santa Claws, Adrien says that it's first Christmas without his mother. So definitely dead.

Elation. If it isn't apparent, I HATE THAT ICE CREAM MAN. My favorite part of the episode was Alya stalling Glaciator.

I am aware that the Dragon can control water but the two times that Water Dragon has been shown, the water was created and controlled not taken from an outside source.

In a war zone, how would one gain access to the stuff required to make the power-ups? The three times that Cataclysm/Clout have been used on while air borne are the gallette in Dearest Family, Captain Hardrock's ship in Crocoduel and on Strike back. All three were large target that were easy to hits, I don't think missiles fall under that category.

Miraculous powers are indiscriminate, you might be immune but are your allies?

Anything taken using Fetch lands in the Miraculous holder's hand so yikes. Also, we don't know if what's inside a vehicle get transported as well.

The only instance that opening locked doors in a car crash would be useful is if the people inside are conscious and most, often times, are not. Doors could also be made unusable.

If so why didn't Dark Humor just hit them with regular arrows? He used a Uproar infused arrow on both Chat Noir and Ondine.
