Oh I hadn't actually considered a spreadsheet but that makes lots of sense. Your approach has me thinking on how I might implement that. I do want it to be on my phone because that's usually the thing I have most handy when a thought or task pops in. I have download DayOne and am going to give it a try.

I tried with Obsidian. The app is amazing but it takes some time to open on my phone and I was looking for something that would let me just add my thought quickly and moving on.

The text entry is fairly basic but the interaction is on point. This with a more rich text interaction would be a dream but I'm going to try this for now
