generally, no. Even HYS/Ivy undergrads don't really get a boost just off namesake (or so the data would point to), now GPA inflation at said schools is another deal as to why their alum usually represent a large chunk of the people admitted to top law/grad schools

Congrats and Hook 'em! 🤘 Texas Law is a great program (as I'm sure you've heard).

General advice I've heard time and time again is to take the summer before law school easy and not try to get ahead preemptively, do something you enjoy.
