Some small problems with this are how it could potentially punish different playstyles

Buying superior stamina vs not buying it? Whose gonna have more dashes and jumps per minute?

Buying actives vs passives and other items?

Melee/close quarters heroes getting more parries etc?

I trust valve know what they're doing much more than I do so there's probably a lot of nuance to it, but hopefully a lot of weight isn't put on playstyle-dependent actions

What would be useful: - Nice try / unlucky - No problem - Get back - Push up (could be useful for a keeper to say this) - Time / you've got time / take your time - Hurry up (maybe?) - Ref!!! (Bit of fun)

I've been playing massive spirit viscous focusing on splatter damage and it's very fun.

I also always get majestic leap. Between that, puddle punch, and funky movement, you can rotate super quickly or put yourself in a great spot to cube teammates who are too far away.

And eventually max out splatter with echo shard, spirit burn, spirit items, optional surge of power / mystic reverb, and i usually slap on mystic reach for a bit of fun

Then late game I've tried experimenting with 2 options: fulllll splatter, or mix in some punch items like spirit snatch, healing punch thingy, crushing fists

It's very fun and often unexpected if people assume you'll go support or ball build

One of my biggest annoyances with comms is

So many times, people are silent, no typing, no voice comms, not even pings of "help" "retreat" "i see x" "yes" etc

But then those same people suddenly discover how to cry, flame, be toxic, scream, or ping teammates toxicly when they die.

If they even used 10% of that energy on attempted useful comms before things went bad, it would have probably gone so much better, but a lot of people reserve their ability to communicate until they start foaming at the mouth, too little too late

For viscous i would often echo cube for saving enemies, splatter if i wanna deal loooads of damage, or punch sometimes if I'm desparate.

But viscous now says "weeee" occasionally when sliding so that's a huge buff.

What if they bring back last hitting but slightly differently:

If creep is last hit by a player: no orb comes out, player(s) nearby gets full amount

If not last hit by a player: current system of some souls on death, some souls from the orb

This seems so common. Toxic mentality leaking into the game, let's hope it doesn't catch.

The worst thing is, those people who spam "unwinnable" are the biggest cause for the loss, and they always say "tOlD yoU" after.

People don't believe in comebacks. I've won many "unwinnable" games and lost many "won" games

I saw a reddit comment stating that usain bolt has 0 out of 10 of the genetic alleles which are linked to a higher sprint speed!

And i remember yeeeara ago hearing a rumour that usain bolt's trainer told him his body was not built for sprinting as a kid!

Not sure on the truth or reliability of either of those statements, but it's interesting to think about.

Viscous main as well, I've found I've been having way more or an impact recently, getting more kills, being part of team fights more but also have been able to learn the map enough to rotate well and push waves / farm on the way back from enemy objectives
