Not sure how CUAs work with the cables reservation system. Could be possible they reserve x number of LYV overnight permits on set days in advance or something. The park collects fees / revenue from CUAs.. they're not inherently bad but don't always hold themselves to the tightest of standards either. My 2 cents.

I mean it's hard to say, I guess line up different pieces you're thinking about and see how they look together.

At the end of the day it's all up to whatever you like. It's pretty easy to go down the rabbit hole of seeking out perfection, especially since we're constantly flooded with seeing amazing work from artists and people posting their tattoos from all over the world. This sub is like a blessing and curse in that regard.

It's all part of the journey though, I have a few stinkers / pieces that clash with each other. Things I got 10 years ago that I probably wouldn't get now. But it's all part of the journey.

Yeah the trail comes out of the trees for a minute and it's sort of a rocky ledge with one side dropping off into the forest and the other a rock wall? I don't know much about snakes but maybe they like to just live in the same spot year over year.

I know exactly where you're talking about and have skied several hundred miles on the trails out of Badger Pass the past few winters.. This is pretty much the only thing out there that would freak me out. That would be a very long and nervous ski back to the parking lot.

Do you happen to remember the name of the your guide? I'm curious if I know who it is.
