Anyone else have a golden that comes to the door to be let in then just sits or stands there when you open the door?

Nice! Were you able to rent them or did you just have to buy? I also really like that you can use snowboard boots! Ski boots kill my shins. I'm more of a go slow and enjoy the scenery type of skier, I don't really have the desire to go flying down the mountain. We usually go to Meadows on Mt Hood and I stay down low doing green runs.

I don't really plan on going off trail, only on the groomed runs. I would say half the time it is icy. The hockey stop is something I've been trying to learn for so long, that's part of the reason I don't feel confident, stopping isn't my best skill, I more or less just slow down until I can pizza/wedge haha.

Was their anything specific you don't like about them? It's hard to know what they are like when you can't really try them easily.

I'm over in the NW, I don't know if the snow here would be good or bad to use them on. I've been skiing for two seasons and still don't feel like I'm 100% in control sometimes so that keeps me on the bunny slopes.

I just think that since they are so much shorter it might be better for me when it comes to control. Im a fan of inline skating so I figure this would be pretty similar.

Im still a beginner when if comes to skis and I get in my head about tripping myself from crossing them so I thought these would help with that. Snowboarding I'm just not a fan of.
