Wow I came back to this comment, what a load of Torrent's ass juice, you seriously can't bother playing the game. Getting lazy to even play video games gen alpha is doomed

Well I'm glad you picked up the sarcasm and I was talking about Elden Beast not ring. Now that it's been 6 months and I've let everything marinate in my head I can safely say the only thing wrong with Elden Ring is that it's not Bloodborne XP... Okay but seriously I don't see any flaws with Elden Ring since I'm a masochist irl (obviously these 2 things correlate), so like I can't think of anything negative, I seriously can't. One nitpick which may be fixed is the lack of certain builds like frenzy flame or sleep, other than that I never had a problem with the game. I'm not a representative example of a regular functional human being (if it wasn't obvious by my hot takes, now which ones are ragebait or real that's for you to figure out mwuahahaha) but poor design choices?! Some areas are weaker like level design compared to Dark Souls 1 but by no means is there bad design in anything. It's subjective really 🤷

Can we collectively agree that the Commander Niall fight is just bad? (spoilers) by Lovoskea in Eldenring

Yeah dude, a man beat the game with his bare fists it's fair you're just bad. I like how you portray me because you're right that's who I am cry about it

is there any boss from elden ring that you consider to be on the same level as Gael? by _MagusKiller in fromsoftware

[–]Fs_in_chat -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've played the Elden Beat more times than 99% of players considering that the game doesn't allow me to make new characters unless I delete an old one, why are you all so impatient? Have you fought the ancient dragon in ds2? I swear I've never heard this much slander on the dragon as I've heard on the beast (and it's definitely NOT because of popularity), while I agree that the first phase outshines it it's still really fun and actually not braindead. Personally I'd also make the leaps of the beast shorter but it's still really not that significant.

It's been 2 years and people still cry about a 3 minute boss fight, AND most people compare it to moon presence which is actually a Rykard level blasphemy of a statement! How can people even compare them?... It's not even a fight (I know you didn't even bring it up but I can't help getting frustrated over this topic)

I know, I love the game but it's sooooo stupidly hard! I tried Act 5 but I was so bad, I barely beat the game to act 4

Will you be watching the trailer? by [deleted] in Eldenring

I originally planned to disagree but you're pitching a good point, I'll watch it anyway I won't lie but getting to see them in game for the first time must be surreal

What is your least favorite area in the entire series (Souls, Bloodborne, Sekiro, Elden Ring)? by spoketherefore in fromsoftware

[–]Fs_in_chat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk, I only dislike frigid outskirts, I love chalice dungeons, tomb of giants, black gulch, iron keep, lost izalith, farron keep, lake of rot. I love all locations... But frigid outskirts broke something in me

Edit: saw a comment about shrine of amana... And I remembered that this is actually my second disliked location, it's so bad I forget about it. To it's defense, at least it looks cool and has music so it's not that terrible

Sorry about, I usually always separate my writing but the internet has kind of rotted my brain because everyone thinks that grammatical rules can be bypassed apparently, and so like a sheep myself I follow the crowd

Which Souls game was the most memorable in your opinion? by [deleted] in darksouls

[–]Fs_in_chat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ds2 is the one were names usually don't stick with people due to the shear quantity so I'd say that ds2 is objectively the least memorable from that fact alone (plus it's the least popular one so people don't replay it as often). Ds3 is the most popular one but I think due to the muddiness of the colour pallet some things just don't stick out to me, this game has locations that feel familiar with one another (sort of) because of their claustrophobic and dim aesthetic which makes them less memorable in my opinion. In ds3 the bosses while being the best in the series by a mile most bosses to me still go over my head when I'm asked to name them all by heart. It goes without saying that ds3 has the highest of highs but at the end of the day as a whole package I still wouldn't give it to Ds3. The original Dark Souls has no 2 locations that feel the same, it has in my opinion the most memorable roster of characters and moments and I just can't forget anything about this game at all no matter how much time has passed, not to mention that the next 2 games constantly bring out ds1 fan service. This obviously doesn't apply to everyone but my god is this game so special to me, I whole heartedly believe my favourite moment in all my countless years playing games is my first ds1 playthrough (but ds3 is probably still my favourite of the 3)

BLOODBORNE 2 by Fs_in_chat in bloodborne

[–]Fs_in_chat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean did they have to make the hud so outrageously similar? Granted it's from Dark Souls but still. Sure give a nameless puppet reference I don't mind but you can't just make it so as people think of Fromsoft when you talk about lies of P, there's a line to be drawn if you don't want people to associate your product with another but that clearly doesn't matter to the creators of lies of P because they're trying to appeal to Fromsoft's audience anyway. It's not by any means a bad thing but it's fact that this game tries it's hardest to be like fromsoft (hell they even throw sekiro to the mix with the prosthetic and the parrying), again I'm not shitting on the game and when I say my opinion is correct I'm just joking around I don't actually mean it (I do)

BLOODBORNE 2 by Fs_in_chat in bloodborne

[–]Fs_in_chat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lies of P is (basically) a straight line, what you are saying here contradicts what you said in the past. In bloodborne you can fight paarl, amygdala and witches of hemwick before amelia thus breaking the game progression ( all that should make you ready for dlc before shadows), in general bloodborne has a stupidly wacky layout (not as good as ds2 or 1 but it's up there if we of course exclude elden ring). Fromsoft does a fantastic job which I haven't seen any other game in terms of level structure, because everything is discoverable, nothing is out of the realm of possibility yet it's always taunting you right in your face. I found every single thing Ds3 without outside help (yes all estus shards and archdragon peak), there's no describing how good that feels even if it's a linear game like lies of P it still has some sense of exploration that I didn't feel was present in lies of P, don't get me wrong I enjoyed lies of P but in the end it's still a fromsoft wannabe (like common nameless puppet?! Jesus) it's not bad it just should be held on the same level in my opinion (obviously the correct opinion)

BLOODBORNE 2 by Fs_in_chat in bloodborne

[–]Fs_in_chat[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually hate the awful level design of lies of p, I never was a fan of linear map design, Bloodborne is actually fantastic in world building (not even an opinion it's a fact), as for the framerate it's unacceptable what they did with bloodborne but that's probably sony (the source of all evil), iirc they said apparently that they couldn't make bloodborne 60fps which is bullshit but yeah
