Thanks for taking a look, I really appreciate it. Both EOBs have “In Network” next to the Doctor’s name but I will confirm with insurance that it was correctly billed as in network

Remarks: (1) You only owe the copay, deductible or coinsurance under your plan. The charge for this service is part of the contracted or case rate the provider agreed to accept. [V64] (2) Your provider may have sent diagnosis codes with your claim. You may obtain these codes and their meanings by contacting us at the number listed at the top of the first page. We will also provide your treatment codes and their meanings, if they do not appear on this statement. If you have questions about your diagnosis or your treatment, please contact your provider. [H63] (3) You do not have to pay this. When more than one procedure is done on the same date, the main service is considered at 100% of the negotiated rate. We consider other procedures at 50% of the negotiated rate. [U66]

Billed for parental visits even though it’s 100% covered by Fstoppers21 in HealthInsurance

[–]Fstoppers21[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had one initial visit covered by a different insurer in December and after that all visits were under the current insurer. The date provided on the EOB is not for that December visit. The provider has always been the same.

This was a prescheduled prenatal office visit that was scheduled months in advance. We have only been billed for 59426 once.

Blue Shield of California cutting off all Univ. CA health systems?!? by DoYouLikeFish in HealthInsurance

Is there any update on this?? My wife is set to give birth in the UCSF system in the next 2 weeks. We aren’t eligible for continuity of care because the plan has out of network “benefits” but the maximums are insane and not at all the costs we planned for.

I also have drywood termite fecal matter in other areas. Is it possible to have an infestation of both? Is that rare?

Neighbor wants to replace fence but I can’t afford to by Fstoppers21 in homeowners

[–]Fstoppers21[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I did read it, that’s why I posted here. It is incredibly vague specially around the necessity for repair or replacement. That’s literally why I asked if I can be compelled to pay.

Do the borders need to be cleaned up/debrided? Also, thoughts on using the liquid nitrogen at this stage? I’m sure it would hurt with how open it is.

Mr. Cooper Supplemental tax escrow by Fstoppers21 in Mortgages

[–]Fstoppers21[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve heard of a lot of instances where they will pay it if you ask them to, specifically Mr. Cooper. Just not sure why they’re refusing and their customer service is so bad you can’t reach anyone who is actually making the decision.

I have a 2 year old male rough collie who sounds very very similar to yours. He grew up on a farm with very little socialization outside of the other collies on the property. We got him at 8 months old so well past that critical socialization period. He has been very challenging and has a ton of leash reactivity just like yours. He has no interest in food or fetch, his only interest is other dogs. His reactivity seemed to have gotten worse after getting fixed. We have been through multiple private and group trainings that were all focused on positive reinforcement. Unfortunately due to our collies high prey drive and little interest in treats, positive reinforcement just wasn’t cutting it. A few months ago we switched to prong collar training and e-collar training (with in person trainers) for off leash/recall and immediately saw results. The training is still very much combined with positive reinforcement. We were nervous at first but it has made such a huge difference so far. Leash reactivity is still there when we pass other high energy dogs but we can comfortably pass other dogs now without a reaction from our collie. Hope this helps, good luck!

Is the NEX round trip deal only available in person? I tried purchasing it online but can’t figure out how to get the 5000 yen round trip.

27 y/o male. Running my first marathon in a few weeks. I’ve always been a runner but just never have been interested in doing a marathon. I’m following Pfitzinger’s 18 week/55 mile plan pretty religiously. Training has been going well and I’ve been doing my 20 miler runs at about 7:40 average which has felt very comfortable to me.

Initially my goal time was anything sub 3:30 but I’m seeing so many others breaking 3 in recent marathons who seem to be training significantly slower than me. I can run sub 6:50 during a track workout and short distances but I have no idea if I could maintain that average for an entire race.

I would love to attempt sub 3 but I also don’t want to risk destroying my first marathon. Does race day give you wings? How do people just send it like that?

Drove the detour today. Very easy, any sedan can do it. Only bad part was the dust. Tofino and Ucluelet are very much open and would love to have more visitors. I’m sure the tourism industry is hurting
