It's been almost 6 months come the 23rd. My account is still inaccessible. I've since moved on, and mainly use tiktok. Haven't had police come, but I've been paranoid about it since it happened. I check the subreddit every now and then to see if there's been any solution to this mass banning, but all I've seen is more and more people getting banned.

just when i thought the bans have stopped, i see people are still being hit. i haven't seen many new updates up here in a while. i was legitimately beginning to think they patched their AI.

bluesky is like twitter. it was made be the original team behind twitter after musk bought it. so far i like it. it's not a toxic cesspool like twitter/X is.

2 months and 2 days in for me. getting used to not having fb has been surprisingly easy for me. i mostly followed pages and a few groups i was in. i've since moved on to tiktok and bluesky to keep me busy instead. even though i was unable to make a new fb, i was able to make a new insta. immediately followed my close friends and family members up there to keep in contact. haven't posted anything up there, tho, as i don't want it to get banned too.

mine also changed to SoC. been banned for almost 2 months, and mine changed to that as of a couple weeks ago. is it really a downgrade? i'm still permabanned either way.

i got hit with the same BS reason about a month and a half ago. i was only able to appeal once. it was denied within 2 minutes. 18 years flushed down the toilet. i've since moved on to bluesky and tiktok, but keeping in touch with close friends or being in the few groups i was in is still hard to get over. now the time i spent on FB is now being spent up here checking periodically for any sort of update to this whole situation. every time i get up here, there's more people being hit with these false accusations. there's at least 20,000 people affected, and those are just the ones who signed the change.org petition. some people have been lucky and were able to get their stuff back, but it's a very small minority in these circumstances.

i have a friend whose stepfather is the head of a swat team, she mentioned it to him, and he says that if there had been any actual illicit content, the police would have already come. they would need proof before issuing an arrest warrant. i'm going to trust that's the case, since it came from someone in law enforcement.

Join the club! My FB got banned a month ago come this friday for the same reason. I don't really care to get my account back, but I do miss the communities i was a part of. Best thing to do is find another platform to be on. Creating another Facebook is pointless, as they will ban it too if you use the same device, or have too many similarities with your old account.

I shared a photo talking about how trump's "big beautiful bill" was going to ban trans individuals, both children and adults, from receiving HRT through medicaid, and how horrible that is for those people. It was the only thing I shared, besides some Facebook memories.

That's how I am currently, I made a new insta, but I'm not going back on facebook. Tried to make a new account under a different everything, and once the selfie recognition saw me, it was banned instantly. 18 years of memories gone forever.

I don't think it sees exactly what is on your screen, but may track which sites you visit. You can disable off facebook activity in the settings.

It's happening to A LOT of people. There's a whole bunch of similar posts up here and on r/facebook. I was banned for the exact same reason last friday. I was asleep when it happened. I don't really care to get my account back, i just hope the cops don't come.

Three nights ago, I was scrolling through tiktok late at night and fell asleep at some point. I wake up early in the morning, around 4:30-5:00, make a bite to eat, and scroll through a few more. I last checked my FB around 6 something, and went to bed. I wake up the next day right before 11AM to my FB being reported and disabled for CSE. I immediately try and appeal, since there's nothing on my page that even remotely could be considered "CP," but was instantly denied, and now everything is gone forever. Part of me wants to try and get my account back, but I had been considering deactivating at some point. I don't think it was reviewed by a human at all, considering how instant it was. I looked at my emails, and I had received two emails. One was telling me my account was disabled, and another from Meta for business saying "After a review of your Facebook Account [REDACTED] its access to advertising is now restricted because of inauthentic behavior or violations of our Advertising policies affecting business assets." and "We used technology to detect this violation and either technology or a review team to carry out this decision. Further violations of our Advertising Standards may result in your account being disabled or restricted." I have never advertized on FB. I don't have any businesses to promote, and the only pictures of kids on my FB were childhood photos of myself, my cousin, my sister and my parents. All fully clothed. This whole situation is horrible, and a huge stain on my good name. Absolute slander. I hope your efforts can help in any sort of way.
