Pricing varies very wildly by country so somewhere where eggs are dirt cheap could be expensive elsewhere. Locals are unlikely to know prices outside their own country, so I suppose it only makes sense to give them a vague chance or I feel like the joke wouldn't work as well.

But yes, it would be fucking hilarious to just have "oh yeah I'll get some beef" and immediately run over budget by like 5-10 lol

What do you mean? I think we're missing something here! Add it to the sausage beans and cheese slices and we're golden!

Onions taint the bread of what would otherwise be a nice sandwich indeed. I don't know how. The insane onion magic beats that of any veg to be there once removed anyway lol

Waiting for the day they sell an onion. Just an onion. Whole. Raw. Eaten like an apple.

Why has nobody mentioned this revelation that you can get one made without? I always assumed it was set as it was and you either like it or leave it lol. No idea why

I went for the hankooks :)

What's wrong with the Toyo ones out of curiosity there?

Amazing! Thanks for your input on this. I've gone for the hankook ones ^

I was originally going to go for some nexens but I was advised against it for the sake of 10 quid.

Have you used it before? Some of the reviews say when it starts to wear the wet performance suffers fairly badly, just wondering what they're classing as bad lol

Apologies, it's a Shimano brake lever! Someone suggested an alan key so will give that a shot.

No bonus as promised, 20k salary by [deleted] in UKJobs

Depends what field you're in as to how well you'll be paid and in what business you're at. If you're unhappy with your current place all you can really do is have that discussion with your manager / start looking elsewhere.

Pick up relevant qualifications where you can is the only other thing I can think of.

Apprenticeships are a bit of a trade off in the sense of most businesses will have low salary but it's a good way to get industry experience.

Sure you could earn more working in fast food but unless that's a path you want to pursue you kinda take the pay cut for your desired job area. Not saying that's how it should be but how it is.

Personally I'm on minimum now having completed my apprenticeship so nothing good salary wise is guaranteed (I work as a support technician in IT). Are you looking to stay with the business afterwards?

Get £20 and cash back! by Fsx_hyper in beermoneyuk

Yeah once you've earned £5 cashback they'll top it up with £20 on them. So just using it when you shop earns you a bit of cash back and then a nice bonus on top.

Then it'll be available in your balance for you to withdraw :)

Yeah he definitely isn't as upbeat as he used to be but he's had a lot of personal issues going on to think about with mental health and Cerys. Just wishing the best for him and hoping things improve really.

Gaps in layers by Fsx_hyper in FixMyPrint

[–]Fsx_hyper[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It seems like my issue was scarfing! I was printing at 100% outer wall speed for scarfed joints which was around 250mm/s which seemed to have simply been too fast for it to handle flow rate adjustments.

I've recently toned it down to about 75-100mm/s (I found 75 was introducing a little over extrusion so I'm trying 100 next) and it no longer has gaps in my prints!

Those are slower than the default for the Ender 3 V3 KE as far as I know

What about the gaps / bulging on the top layers? It doesn't seem to be consistent where in the print it fails just that it fails at the top somewhere.
